I build one of a kind, custom drums at a reasonable price point. With over 30 years of experience as a drummer, I understand what sounds incredible and looks awesome. I currently build snare drums, kits and floor tom sets. It is my main goal to make sure you will be pleased with look and sound of your drum.

History

Established in 2013.

Although I officially started this business in 2013, it’s roots can be traced back to 1977 when I received my first drum set. I wound up pulling of the wrap and refinishing that set. The obsession to improve my drums has never left me. Over the years, I have taken all of my drums apart to learn about design and function. I have also had a life long love of woodworking and building. After many years of playing with the idea of building my own drums, I was inspired by some people to go ahead and try building my own. So started my 2^nd obsession — drum building!

I was born and raised in Massachusetts, moved to California at 16, and living in Texas since 2004. I traveled to Romania where I met my wife. We lived there for several years and I really loved the experience and the ability to travel to Greece, Bulgaria and Austria. I have three kids. Life is good. I started playing drums at 9 years old on a Sears drumset that my brother had bought. My brother is 4 years older than me is an incredibly talented pianist, singer, guitarist, bass player and songwriter. Soon enough my parents bought me a real kit — an early 70’s Slingerland with a blue swirl wrap. While living in California I was building wood fences, decks and arbors. Here I started to master my woodworking skills. I later turned to furniture refinishing and remodeling. These skills, the love of wood and creating are the foundation of what I do today.
