I had a very nasty virus on my 3 month old computer and the owner wiped it away clean. It took several times because it was the type of virus that comes back but after the third time it was gone. He honored the warranty after this first visit with no problem. I would definitely use computer wizards again, he is less expensive than I thought it would be and very pleased with his service

Took my company laptop in because it stopped working and they ran tests and actually advised me that we have a warranty with Dell and to call them to repair. It’s nice to have HONEST computer repair people so close! It was a minimal fee for their time, I will most definitely go back. Quick Turn Around and Honesty at a GREAT price!

It truly doesn’t get any better. They will do whatever is necessary to diagnose and repair, and at a reasonable price. I hope they stay in business for many years. Computer Wizards is the best place around to take you laptops and computers.

My laptop has a charging problem at the motherboard level. They tested and didnt charge me and also advised me not to spend the money on the repair.
Ill go back to them again

Jim is awesome. Did a fantastic job fixing my laptop which won’t boot up. Not only the laptop got fixed, Jim made it work better than when it was brand new. I am a big fan. Highly recommended!

I normally do most of my own troubleshooting/​repairs but was not able to this time. I knew my hard drive was going out and did not have the time and software to diagnose. Honestly, I won’t let anyone work on my computer unless I know they are qualified in what they’re doing. Jim is that person. I could tell after my conversation with him that he was knowledgeable and I could trust him with my machine/​data.

My computer went in a total mess. Spyware, McAfee was corrupted, on and on. It was horrible! Then we took it in to be fixed by Wizard and my computer is like new! Took 2 days and the price couldn’t be beat! I will be a repeat customer for sure!

I almost never write review updates unless the experience is exceptionally worse or consistently great. I had to come back to see Jim the owner of Computer Wizard after following his advice from my last visit and purchasing a new laptop hard drive. I wasn’t able to get very far, beyond re-​installing Windows, because I didn’t have access to drivers to even get my internet access up and running.
However, I didn’t have a worry in the world, because Jim had messaged me to follow up on my 1^st visit and offered to help if I need any further help with installing drivers! I didn’t think then I would need to take him up on his offer, but I’m glad it was extended. I felt like I was in one of those State Farm commercials…“Like a good neighbor State Farm[Computer Wizard] is there!” I messaged him back and let him know I would pass by after work.
I have to say it was definitely worth the 40 minute drive in traffic. He was able to get the driver’s installed on my laptop. It took about 15 minutes. even when he ran into a snafu he was able to figure it out. The snafu was getting driver’s for the wireless internet card. It was like watching a Jedi do a Jedi mind trick as Jim gracefully in clusters got my driver’s back and running. Jim even went above and beyond and bookmark a safe site to download a bunch of free necessary software such as Open Office and AVG free Antivirus. That’s icing on the cake. I never got the feeling like it was a burden to help me out. Jim’s computer repair skills is very extensive. I highly recommend for any computer repairs issues or even if you need a computer built to your specifications such as for gaming or video editing. This is your one stop shop!

These guys know what they are doing! If you need a computer repaired and don’t wanna be overcharged bring it here! They were quick to get to work when my Lenovo stopped playing sound! Explained what they were doing and got me up and running again.

I wish I could give 10 stars, these guys are that awesome!!! I will not bore with the details, but my husband and I took our laptop in. Service was super fast with an amazing fair price. Took the tower in. He suggested some updates that would improve performance and speed. Never felt any pressure at all (my husband is a performance freak) to upgrade, but we asked. He even went so far as to suggest the most economical way to get similar performance with half the price. He even gave guidance on what would really make a difference and what would be just nice to have. I just can not say enough good about Computer Wizard. Knowledgeable staff, super friendly, fair and reasonable prices and I can honestly say I TRUST THESE GUYS!!!

So Computer Wizard has actually fixed two of my computers. I had a very old computer that hardly worked — I couldn’t even get the internet to come up and it practically froze every time I tried to do anything on it. But, I thought if I could get it fixed up, I could donate it to charity. So, I took it to Computer Wizards — what a great decision! The staff is friendly, there has never been a wait and they totally put up with my long, uneducated in computer speak descriptions of what is wrong with my computer! I got it back the next day and it works great now.
My second visit was in a state of panic. My work/​personal laptop is my life and was extremely expensive and has a lot of expensive software on it. Again, I work on a computer everyday but understand very little about how they work, so when my computer froze and wouldn’t turn on, I panicked. I came into Computer Wizard with tears streaming down my face and desperate for reassurance that it would be ok.
It was OK! They called me a few hours later, explained the problem and I picked up the computer on the way into work the next day. Both fixes have been resonably priced, very quick and I already recommeded my mom bring her computer in for a «wellness» check!
Love those guys!

Issue with a 2 year old Sony Vaio laptop; Windows 7 locked up due to aborted registry defrag. Computer/​Windows would not boot up — infamous «blue screen». They cleaned up the Windows files and had me back in business in less than 24 hours with walk in service. Very reasonable: $ 50 for the service.

I was having an issue with my used 2 day old Dell D430 laptop that I bought from somewhere else. It was stuck in an update «loop» mode and would not boot up.
Found out my external cd rom drive was not working so I ended up buying a powered Dell brand external cd rw from them and then restored the pc to an earlier time when it was working.
Willie, with over 17 years of software experience, got me up and running fast and even checked to make sure my wireless card was working properly which it wasn’t. He updated the driver and working fine now. Did a few more tweaks also. Friendly and easy to work with.
Very reasonable prices.
