Cedar Park Sleep Diagnostic Ctr

This review might be a little dated, because the last time I was here was probably a good 3 or 4 years ago. But back when I was going here, it was a pretty good and interesting experience.
I’ve had some kind of sleeping problem my whole life; mild insomnia, sleep apnea and general nightowlishness runs on both sides of my family. Back in high school it was getting to the point where it was affecting my daytime behavior, so we went right around the corner to the Sleep Center to see what was up.
The staff were pretty cool. To make sure there wasn’t anything physically wrong that was causing me to not sleep at night or to not feel rested when I did, they hooked up all kinds of sensors and stuff to me. I wish I still had that picture, I’d totally upload it here. Basically I had electrodes and all kinds of stuff patched all over me. Plus, when I spent the night there, I had to sleep with an oxygen mask over my face, which was kind of a weird feeling.
The upside was that the beds there are ungodly comfortable. I actually conked out much faster than I usually did!
The short of it is that I didn’t have anything physically off, it was that my family was a bunch of night people and so that’s just how I was. Over the next few years I settled into a rhythm and I’m doing fine today.
At any rate I’d definitely recommend the Sleep Center for anyone with insomnia, restless leg syndrome or anything else they might wanna get looked at.
