I had a terrible experience with this clinic and would not recommend it to any one. They have a big communication problem, both internal and external. It took them over two weeks to get me my lab results. I called five times over three days to finally get the information. As a new patient they managed to input my phone number and email wrong. Although I wrote down and brought in information on health history, I think they got that mixed up too. They told me that they would need to lower my thyroid medication, but should have increased it (misinterpreted the thyroid labs), causing me another six weeks of tiredness and slow functioning. The physician assistant called with the information on a new prescription for cholesterol meds, but when I got to the drug store to pick it up, it was for a different amount. Twice I went to pick up medication and it was either incorrect or different than what I was told. I have no trust in this place or the doctor any more. I received terrible care from them and after trying to give them one more chance, I called it quits and went elsewhere.

They told my wife she had hepatitis B. Then called her back to say «No, you don’t have it, oh wait you do have it» in the same conversation. Took The Dr 3 days to call her back just to tell her she DIDN’T have hepatitis B, nor did it mention hepatitis on the paper. Victor took it upon him self to diagnose her.
Your medical assistant is a direct reflection of you, doctor. Thanks for traumatizing my wife. Shes been crying for a week and you think you did your job? I’m assuming so because you kept the money and victor is still employed. This will not get swept under the rug. Your blatant disregard for your patients well being will be brought to the attention of the state and many others.

Dr. Overstreet is by far the best general practitioner that I’ve had I think ever. She’s extremely thorough it taking all of your information down as an established patient, very caring and kind. I couldn’t ask for a better doctor!

Dr. McGaugh is great, he is knowledgeable and friendly. The staff is always polite and I never have to wait more than 15 min when I come for my appointment.

dr. christine m. anderson, is a pain specialist. i have gone to many pain doctors for sciatica pain. if you suffer from sciatica pain you know what i mean. the sciatica pain is very hard to deal with, it makes you handicap.
i was not able to stand for long, set on any thing that was hard and bending, just did not happen.
i am moving and needed help, i went to see three pain doctor. their office was full and all of these people were waiting to be seen, so i left. i was taking a blood test and mention that i needed a good pain doctor and they said you need mr. anderson in georgetown.
i went to cedar park surgery center for my shot and guess what no pain. i am feeling so much better, i can stand and wash dishes. i go back next week for the last shot.
dr. anderson explain every thing to you and what she is going to do. oh! there is no waiting for her. so be sure to be on time!

I see Dr. Stoeckel, and he is by far one of the best doctors I’ve ever been to. He really cares and spends time talking to you about all of your concerns.
I feel as if I can actually trust his opinion because he seems very knowledgable. I’ve been to my fare share of doctors, had two surgeries. one of which took more than 10 ER visits and countless doctors running tests, or just not caring before one figured out the problem. He doesn’t brush off a lot of things you say like I feel many doctors do and actually tries to help you figure out the root of the problem.
I’ve never waited longer than 5 – 10 minutes in the waiting room except to do a blood draw in the lab there, after seeing the doctor though, and I always show up at least 5 minutes early to appointments.

I went to see Dr. McGaugh for the first time on Thursday because I had just started bronchitis and was going on a road trip next week. His office is spotless and was decorated for Halloween very nicely. It was pleasant. The receptionist was totally polite and very pleasant.
Every time I returned to the window for help on the forms, she had a good attitude.
I was called into the examination room by a cheerful and warm nurse named Katie.
Dr. McGaugh came in with a student medical studen, who is training with him. Dr Mcgaugh had the best bedside manner that I have never experienced in Austin and I have lived here for 28 years. He is very professional and warm. He gave me a great treatment and I felt so much the very next day.
I am returning back in two weeks to have my regular check up and feel very glad that I have found such a great doctor. Thank you Dr. McGaugh for making me feel better for my trip.

I had a similar experience as Laura P detailed in her review dated 5÷20÷2015. The 2^nd or 3^rd week in May Dr. Bell was recommended to me. I have a PPO so I have managed to make it 8 years without a primary care, so hesitated to call. The 2^nd week in June I called and was told that she is no longer taking new patients and that decision had just been made the week before. But I could see Dr. Bollenini. I declined and expressed my disappointment. I asked if she might change her mind and they said I was free to call back once a month and ask. They took my name, date of birth and insurance information.
One month later I called back and asked if Dr. Bell was now taking new patients. They said no but when I told them I had called a month ago they asked for my date of birth and said «you have an appointment August x!». Seriously? I told them no one had notified me. They said they thought it might be a mistake because she is NOT taking new patients, but I do have a scheduled appointment — so they said «go with it».
2 – 3 weeks before that appointment they called me to say they would have to cancel the appointment with Dr. Bell and not be able to reschedule because she is on extended medical leave. They offered me no opportunity to reschedule in the future, but of course offered me an appointment with Dr. Bollenini. Do you see a pattern developing?
I resigned myself and took the appointment.
After that I called my friend who recommended Dr. Bell and told her what happened. She said «interesting, because they called me to reschedule my appointment with Dr. Bell from early September to late September, but did not mention her being on any kind of leave.»
So this afternoon, with hesitation, I head out for my appointment. On my way I realize I printed out the new patient paperwork and left it on the printer. Oh well I thought, I’m quick and besides I’ve got a 1-​page doc I use that has my medical history which makes it very easy to complete new patient paperwork. Then I couldn’t find the office; called «scheduling» and asked «is the office on the north or south side of 620» and was emphatically told «north»;you probably know where this is going — it was on the south side of 620.
By the time I arrived I was late. I was informed that «office policy is that if new patients arrive without paperwork complete, they must reschedule». You know what, I said better yet, I don’t want to reschedule because I only really wanted to see Dr. Bell anyway, not Bollenini who I feel was pushed on me. And that after reading some negative reviews on Unilocal etc., I knew I was making the right decision.

Dr Haley Overstreet is as good of a doctor as you will find. She is thorough and takes her time. The only reason I would change doctors is if I move out of the Austin area.

Back in March of 2015, I called and booked an appointment for Dr. Kristin Bell at the 11 521 FM 620 office of Cedar Park Physicians Associates. I choose her because of the good reviews I had read about her — provided by google, Unilocal and my own health insurance company. I was told by the receptionist that the earliest I could be seen would be June 6, 2015. I was a bit put off by this, but decided that I would go ahead and book the appointment. At the time I booked this appointment, the receptionist also suggested that I see Dr. Bollineni, because that doctor could see me sooner. I politely refused, since I had done my research and decided on Dr. Bell.
Well… today (⁵⁄₂₀), I received a call from Dr. Bell’s office. I was told that Dr. Bell was no longer available on ⁶⁄₆. Her first available appointment would be JULY 29!!! Are you kidding me? The receptionist again offered the services of the doctor, which I declined (using some rather colorful language — sorry about that.)
I definitely got the impression that Dr. Bell’s receptionist was trying to drum up business for the other doctor vs. truly trying to find replacement appointments for Dr. Bell. Plus, waiting 5 months for an initial appointment with a general practitioner/​internal medicine doctor is ridiculous — it’s not like Dr. Bell is a specialist.

seeing the pop up ads on facbook extolling their same day appointments prompted me to call them two weeks ago. I’m still waiting for a return call.

Seen Dr. Overstreet was my first visit .Very short waiting period. They all Made me feel very comfortable, Jasmine the medical assistant was amazing and the dr really cares how your feeling ! She took her time asked the questions and listens even found a specialist that took my insurance and schedule my appointment !! Will differently make this my primary care doctor !:)

Love this doc! I have been there twice with illness and both times he offered me shots instead of just scripts! I love this. One is a steroid and one is an antibiotic. I clear up fast! He did give me a script for antiobiotics to follow up but most doctors are reluctant to offer shots. It clears you up so much faster. His office is also very clean and his staff very friendly. Same day appts.

I posted a very unfavorable review of this clinic two days ago. Because of some incorrect info on my profile the staff could not reach me. In the last two days they have made every effort they can to correct the problem and right our professional relationship. I will continue to visit Dr. Mark Stoeckel as my family physician.

My overall experience with this practice has been unsatisfactory. I did like Dr. Aiken but have have had so many negative experiences with the clinic and have no idea whether she contributed to those or doesn’t even know what is going on. First, I made an appointment for an annual as a new patient but had no idea until I was there that my first visit would be a «get to know the doctor» visit and not an exam. It was very difficult for me to get off work and it was about 3 months later when I could get in for an annual exam. I brought all my lab results for the past 10 years along with a typed medical history, a list of all supplements and medications (I only take one-​for thyroid). I stated I did not need a pap and the visit was under 15 minutes. I then had lab work done. I did not require any intervention — I just wanted to get connected to a new physician in case of emergency.
**The office then billed my insurance for 2 office visits when I came in for the annual. This was in addition to the charge for the get to know the doctor visit. I first called their out-​of-​state billing number on the statement and was told it was a mistake and would be removed but that it might take a while. That apparently was not correct and I was sent to collections. I checked with my insurance company and they said the double charge is allowed when a significant diagnosis occurs during the exam outside of the parameters of a standard exam (like seeing a possible melanoma). Apparently, what they interpreted as a serious qualifying diagnosis was Dr. Akin stating «Oh, I see you have some psoriasis spots» and me responding «Yes, I have had those on and off for over 30 years». «Do you want to try some ointment for that?». «Sure.»
**I had requested at the annual that we test my Vit D levels as part of the blood work since I have been taking D for years and had no idea if my levels were OK. Plus I have had cancer more then once and there is a lot of documentation on the relationship between cancer and low D levels. To my surprise, even though this is a standard test that my insurance covers all the time, I was billed nearly $ 400 for it because it was coded as unnecessary by Dr. Aiken. I could have gone to a walk-​in lab nearby and had the test without an order for under $ 60. When the office would not submit revised coding or even call me back about this (I had to leave voice mail messages as they never seen to answer), I filed an appeal with the insurance company to challenge the coding but that was denied because the physician had not responded to them.
**At the time of my annual, I still had several months left on the prescription for my thyroid medication and she chose not to call in a new prescription. When the prescription was about to expire, I called and left a message for them to call in a new prescription. It did not happen. Weeks later, I called in again. Someone called me back and I was told that the doctor needed to see me first. Since it was WELL within a year since the blood work was done and when I had my exam and since my levels were within normal, I knew insurance would not cover the exam. Plus, there was no reason to come in again other than their desire to charge for another visit. This was not a narcotic or other abused substance — just standard Thyroid medication. There was not even a willingness to call in a script for a few months until I was eligible for my yearly exam. I have now been off the medication for several months as it will be a few more months before my insurance will cover an annual with another physician where I can get a new prescription. Without it I am fuzzy brained and lethargic and less effective and this is greatly impacting my job performance.
If you are seeking a practice that will communicate appropriately with you and without rudeness, return calls, display concern for your overall well being, be open past 4 pm, and be responsive to your needs, this is probably not the place for you. Personally, I cannot help but question the motivation behind the excessive office visits and the associated charges.

Ron has an attitude and so does his staff. They are rude, not helpful, and in fact went out of their way to take care of their patient. I would never go back to this office and the Doctor.

After visiting this doctors office for five years I have come to the conclusion it is not going to work for me. As far as the doctors I think they are great. It is the office staff that is the issue. I have tolerated their lack of customer service because I liked Dr Akin. However this is the straw that broke the camels back. I had a terrible ear ache and soreness of the scalp in the morning. It had kept me from sleeping that night I called to see if I could come in and was told they were booked solid but there was an opening for a Dr. Overstreet at 2 PM. Since there were no earlier opportunities I took that appointment however the nature of my job is that on occasion I get tied up and cannot break away. I knew I was going to be 15 minutes late and called and left a message because no human ever answers the phone and it was for Jasmine. Dr. Overstreet’s assistant. When I arrived I was probably told that because I was passed the 15 minute mark which was at 18 after I would not be seen. It didn’t matter that they have kept me routinely in the waiting room for 30 to 45 minutes with no complaints on a regular basis. It didn’t matter I have been a customer for five years. So I am writing this at an Urgent Care facility. The place I will start using from now on.

I found the staff and physician at the Avery ranch office exceptional. I quickly was able to get a same day appointment and only had to wait for them to verify my insurance and take my vitals. I’m perplexed that others are taking out their insurance issues on the Doctors. Doctors don’t make insurance contracts, they are not sure what each patients plan covers and doesn’t. What med requires authorization and what doesn’t?

I went to the Avery Ranch office for a physical in November 2013 with Dr. McGaugh. I never received my new patient paperwork because, despite my spelling it several times during our conversation, the receptionist misspelled my name and email address. The front desk staff were constantly on the phone, multitasking with intake of patients and the desk looked like a tornado had stirred up all of the paperwork. Once back in the exam room, the doctor had to be convinced to look at me as would be done in a physical, and just asked a few quick questions. He said he would give me a referral and call in a new prescription for me.
I went over to the pharmacy where I was informed that I needed a prior authorization, and they faxed the form to the doctor’s office while I was standing there. They informed me it could take a few days, and they would call when it was ready. After two weeks, I went back to the pharmacy because I hadn’t heard anything about my prescription. They said they never got the paperwork back, and re-​faxed it while I was standing there again. During this time I never heard from the referral.
A few weeks later, I got a bill, when physicals are supposed to be covered 100% by my insurance. I called the doctor’s office to inquire, and they said it wasn’t entered as a physical, but a myriad of small things. They also said they never received the prior authorization forms from the pharmacy, and that they had sent in the referral the day of the appointment. After going back and forth about the billing coding, the office worker said he would look into it and get back to me.
It is now a month and a half later, and I have not heard anything from them. I did, however JUST get the call from the referral, and they said they called the day they received it from the first doctor. I got my prescription finally filled a month after the appointment. I will NEVER use Dr. McGaugh again!

I’ve never experienced less than a 30 minute wait to be taken back to a room. From there, it’s usually another 15 –30 minutes to see the doctor. If you make an appointment with these doctors, plan on staying a while.
The front desk staff also varies. Some of the women are very nice, but I’ve witnessed very rude and condescending behavior from Melissa.
I’ve seen all three doctors and I’ve been happy with them all, although Dr. Akin is my preferred provider. It’s probably not her fault that the service is slow, but it’s good to know in case you have somewhere to be!
