We had a great experience with BRET! Our rickety loud dungeon-​esque sounding chain mechanism from 1982 was driving me crazy. We called for a free estimate and Bret came out and talked to us about our options. He did not hardsell us but told us about several affordable choices to bring our door into this century. He was able to schedule the work shortly after he came out for the estimate and did the installation quickly. Our garage was even cleaner when he left than when he arrived. Now our garage door is so quiet we can hardly even hear it. We are also glad we were able to choose a LOCAL company to do this work. THANK YOU!

Always quick to respond and same day visits when we call. Quick great service. The guys who come and check our garage are always nice and prompt. When something goes wrong with our garage we won’t hesitate to call them first.

Stopped in to get a new remote for my garage door. Jason Latimer replaced the battery for free and said I didn’t «need» a new remote at the time. Walked in close to closing time and was treated as if I was there to spend $ 1000+.

We needed service on our garage door. We immediately called Cedar Park Overhead Doors as they seemed to have a good reputation. They certainly lived up to that! I called early Monday morning and spoke with Samantha, who was very pleasant and accompanying. She got me scheduled for service that same day!!! I was very relieved. Our service technician, Ted G. was very proficient and really took his time to detect the problem. He repaired our door and the cost was minimal. I was extremely pleased to say the least. I highly recommend them for all of your garage door needs!

JIMMY… ask for Jimmy when you order services from this company! I’m not a family friend or a relative of Don (owner) or Jimmy (one of Don’s reliable guys) and read too much about Shane, but Jimmy also deserves a credit where credit is due and he needs to be known as one of the most trustworthy reliable professionals out there!
Maybe my issue was too simple (replacing a broken spring), but other things are as important as just a skills set — Jimmy was on time, he called prior to coming over, he was courteous and professional, but what struck me the most is his integrity as a professional and as a person.

Our spring broke on a Monday night, called early (7:30a) on Tuesday morning and Shane was at our house at 8a! Fixed it in no time. Then… the following Wednesday, we had another issue with the ‘motor mounts’ and our garage door wouldn’t close when I got home from work. (which Shane did mention we were going to have issues soon regarding the mounts) I called at 4:30 and spoke to Brandon and Shane showed up at 5p. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the exact size mounts (screws) at the time. Shane came the following morning at 8a and fixed everything… including my keypad that I haven’t been able to use in 4yrs.
Garage Doors is an expense that we all cringe when something goes wrong and Cedar Park Overhead Doors is who you want at your home. Scheduling was simple and we are so happy with the service. Shane, you’re amazing. Thank you so much for everything.

We have wood garage door and last night the frame just gave up and it was half open. Could neither close or open it. I was also concerned how much it was going to cost me but had no choice. Called them up today and they were here within 2 hours. They started working but did not give estimate and knowing their review did not push them. They spend about 2 hours and their cost was much less than what I had expected. They truly are professionals who know their stuff and are honest. I am so glad I searched on Unilocal and found them. The Operations Manager, Ric, took personal attention to the set up and instillation of my door and sent Gabrille to come over for the instillation. This company has been one I’ve used multiple times over the years and they’ve always been great to me. My most recent experience with them was no exception. I have a double door garage and I personally installed the two garage door openers a little while after the house was built back in the early 1990’s. Since the installation I’ve had them come out a couple of times to help me with the maintenance issues required and they’ve been great.
Their last visit was the best experience yet. One of the openers stopped lifting the door it controlled. I figured because of its age, the opener simply needed replacing. I called Shane and company and he came by and looked at it with me. Instead of selling me a new opener system as I thought I needed, he simply replaced one of the plastic gears that had worn down over the years. It didn’t save me a ton of money having it repaired instead of replaced, but it did save the still functioning opener from the trash heap with a nice warranty on the repair that he did.
These should be your garage door guys. They are very prompt, knowledgeable and professional. It is nice to be able to trust a company to give you what you actually need instead of what some salesman wants to sale you.

Karl did a great job! He was very friendly and thorough in explaining how my old opener was causing damage to my garage door. He recommended a new liftmaster opener. I was hesitant at first, but I’m so glad I made the switch. My new opener is extremely smooth and quiet. During the install, Karl also repaired my damaged door. Setting up the appointment was easy and he finished the job very fast. He also took the time to clean everything up before leaving. I’m a very happy customer.

In times where people always try to Upsell and cross sell, Scott & team at Cedar Park overhead doors were awesome in giving me an honest opinion.
They didn’t suggest me any new product or fix but simply said I can run with my current system till it wears out and then can think of installing a new one.
I’m leaning towards a new garage door opener system and will definetly look at cedar park overhead doors and no one else.

The first Saturday in May, as I was opening the garage door to back out the car and take a family member to the hospital, one of the torsion springs snapped. Talk about lousy timing. I had enough strength to lift the now 130 pound dead weight door and prop it open so I could back the car out. A few hours later, coming back home, I try to lift the door using the lock handle, and it snapped off in my hands. Blood did flow.
So I spent my Sunday pricing garage door spring replacements. I was suprised at how many of the companies that advertised «24-​hour emergency service» really didn’t offer that service on Sunday. That includes some of the highly rated companies here on Unilocal.After calling around for pricing and availability, I checked with my old friends at Cedar Park Overhead Doors. Their price was highest, but instead of a 6 month or 1 year warranty, they backed their product with a lifetime warranty (exclusive of labor). That, and they could be out Sunday afternoon, when no one else was willing. After having a bad experience with the last set of springs and another company, this sounded like the best deal overall.
As luck would have it, I have a heavy insulated door, and the springs that were needed weren’t available when the service technician came out. But I had to be at work the next day, so we worked a deal where he met me so early in Monday morning that I was able to still leave at my ungodly hour for work and get the springs replaced. My technician was actually ahead of time, and he finished the spring replacement in record time. He also committed to work on getting a replacement garage door handle for me as soon as the part could be pulled from salvage.
A couple weeks went by, and the part wasn’t available in salvage, so it needed to be ordered. When the part came in, it turned out to be too short (or so we thought). So another order had to be placed.
A month went by, and I checked with my technician. He’d been in a life-​threatening head-​on and side-​impact crash at 70 mph, so he told me to call and work directly with Don (the owner). Don asked me for some pictures and measurements so he could try to find the exact part I needed, and I provided them to him.
Another month went by, while Don was out in the field substituting for his injured tech. I eventually made contact with Matt, who asked me to re-​explain the problem. He fabricated a handle with a longer shaft, and we made a plan for him to show up this past Saturday. But, as it turned out, there had been a miscalculation, and the standard handle fit just fine. While he was there, I mentioned a noise that I wasn’t used to hearing from the opener, and he readjusted the springs to put the door back in balance.
In summary, Cedar Park Overhead Doors has my business for life simply because they’re one of the few companies in Austin that cares enough to make sure the customer is satisfied after the sale is over and money has changed hands.

Excellent service and FAST. Good quality material… I can say this because our door was installed in June 2014 and it’s as good as the day it was installed. Also very well priced and the installer was friendly and professional. Highly recommend this place.

From speaking with Larry while doing the install, it was easy to see how much he enjoyed his job and how much attention to detail he put into his work. Garage door coil spring broke on my 16′ door; went to Unilocal for Help and found this place. Girl that answered the phone was really nice, and took the time to explain everything to me, then offered to get somebody out for a free estimate. «Shane» showed up the next day and I gotta say I was blown away by this guy’s expertise. The price he quoted me was fair. He not only replaced the coil spring, but made a few adjustments and now… This garage door works better than it did new. Highly recommend this company !
