I am thrilled to have found Dr. Swanson! I was having some serious leg referral pain down both legs that was hindering my daily activities and sleep. I’ve also struggled with some low back pain and headaches caused from grinding my teeth at night.
My referral pain is almost completely gone after 1 and a half months! I am sleeping again and can sleep on both sides, back or tummy! Yay! Before, I could only sleep on one side. My headaches from the jaw pain are gone too!

When I started looking for a chiropractor I was a little uneasy about what I was getting myself into but Dr. Swanson and his team are very accommodating and excellent at what they do. I have felt a night and day difference since I began. My headaches, neck/​shoulder tension, and sleep patterns have all taken a turn for the better!

Dr Swanson is an excellent chiropractor. He has treated our family for 3 years. The office staff is friendly and polite and they always run on time. Parking is easy.

Dr. Swanson’s adjustments are spot on. I am still amazed that with only a few sentences explaining where I was having pain in my neck he knew intuitively what my body needed. Not only did he instantly relieve my neck pain, but took the time and interest to align other parts of my body which were additional sources of pain. Dr. Swanson genuinely cares about well being. It is clear with him, that it is about more than just a quick fix. He loves what he does and it shows. After educating me on preventative treatment, Dr. Swanson has also adjusted my 1 and 3 year old sons, who are both prone to ear infections. The effects on them were immediate as you could see more flexibility and comfort, supported by the fact that they have been sleeping through the night and napping for significantly longer periods of time since visiting Dr. Swanson.

I have a newborn baby and he was suffering with Acid Reflux pretty bad. He would arch his little back and scream crying for weeks, then I got referred to Dr. Swanson and after a few visits my baby no longer suffers with Acid Reflux!!! I would have never thought about chiropractor care for something like this. I am so extremely grateful and highly recommend Dr Swanson, he really knows what he is doing!

I just completed a new patient exam, and an very impressed. I’ve visited and worked with several chiropractors in my time, and really liked the techniques employed by Dr. Swanson during my adjustment. The office staff were courteous and professional, and the office was clean and pleasant. They base treatment on xrays, which in my opinion, is the only way to have a good outcome, I find the adjustment factory standard one size fits all approach to yield little result. Not so was the case here, we went over the specific needs I have, Dr. Swanson even hit me with a bit of electrical acupuncture during the adjustment. I would decimated recommend a visit.

Pain can come from so many things… accidents, age, repetitive movements over time. All lead to the body moving out of alignment. Recently, I visited Dr. Swanson’s office with extreme pain in the middle of my back. So much so, that it hurt to breathe and I couldn’t sleep. Dr. Swanson examined me and explained that I had a rib out of place. With one adjustment, my pain disappeared! I could not believe that I was back to normal living within an hour.
I highly recommend Dr. Swanson’s office. The ladies in the front office are friendly and caring. They take the time to get to know Dr. Swanson’s patients. Dr. Swanson’s bedside manner is so welcoming. He takes a personal interest in why you are in pain and is excellent at explaining the root of the issue. He is not the doctor that is going to rush you in and out.
If you are in pain, make an appointment. You will be amazed at the results from Dr. Swanson’s chiropractic care.

I have been seeing Dr. Swanson periodically for about a year now. I first turned to chiropractic care when my husband and I were trying to conceive, then have continued with it throughout my pregnancy. I let too much time go between visits this last time, and the relief I felt yesterday when I walked out of Dr. Swanson’s office was incredible. My lower back has been in such pain and has been going numb — he knew just what to do to fix me up! I will definitely continue to see him in the future!

My old neck had gotten worse
after years of ups and downs
after trying yoga, traction,
acupuncture and massage.
And PT, and ergonomics,
and those memory
foam pillows – since it’d
get worse while I slept.
I’m no fan of chiropractic
(why they’d leave off that last «e»?)
but I gambled that this clinic,
highly touted, would help me.
He X-​rayed me, pointed out
my neck tilted nine degrees
and that he would need to
see me thrice a week.
He did help me, and my jaw,
which had also been in pain,
until session number seven
upon which the pain returned.
He tried different techniques
popping bones in various ways
but what he did did not help
and at times just made things worse.
True, he runs his office well;
waiting times were never long.
True, the office staff is swell
especially the sweet Jovaughn,
But after a dozen visits
at 45 bucks a crack
I said goodbye to the chiro
and I’m never going back.

I recommend to anyone with muscle or joint pain that they see Dr. Swanson ASAP. He completely relieved my back and hip pains and has kept me pain free for months. I especially appreciate his relaxed manner — he NEVER pushes you to agree to anything, just explains alternative treatments for whatever ails you. The staff are friendly and efficient. I used to be skeptical about chiropractic — but no more!

He may be one of the best chiropractors in the world, but I will never know because I just made it to the reception.
Even that the ladies in reception are very friendly, since I arrived it was all about how I was going to pay for this as my health insurance wont cover because it was product of a car accident. I was not at fault, and I already talked to the other driver’s insurance and they will cover for the expenses once the treatment is finished. I can pay with my credit card and get reimbursed and that was one of the option I gave to to the ladies. But it appears that this was not a very acceptable form of payment because it could be «thousands of dollars» the treatment, and they assumed I cannot afford it (I’m debating to think they assumed that because I’m Hispanic? or does it happen to all patients?) If I give you this as an option for my payment, please accept it! But they really wanted me to call my car insurance company to open a personal injury claim so I can afford the visit to Dr. Swanson. They did mention that I should call the insurance when I made the appointment, but I totally forgot. All the conversation about how I was going to cover for the expenses was done out loud in front of other patients. This also display lack of professionalism and privacy of my case.
After I left the office in tears, I got a phone call from Jovaughn to apologize for the incident. This still doesn’t cure my problem, this still doesn’t change the fact that I felt discriminated. It appears that one can work hard enough to be protected with my own money, health insurance, car insurance, and it still doesn’t look like it is good enough.
I was there because I needed to see a doctor, my neck still hurt and this stress doesn’t help. But this visit was totally ruined because everything I was asked it was about the payments, and they didn’t even asked how I was feeling.
So, if you go to this office, my recommendation to be able to see the doctor is that you have everything in hand to reassure them that you are able to pay. Otherwise, be ready to feel rejection.

I wish other Dr offices were as wonderful as Dr. Swanson and his staff! It seems nowadays, you’re not getting modern customer service if it’s not served up with a side of snark, eye-​rolling, misbilling and mistakes galore by the office staff. But Dr. Swanson’s office seems to be old fashion in their customer service because every time I interact with his staff members (Jovaughn and Katie — I think it’s cool I even know their names) — it is a wonderful experience. They smile and laugh and are (shock) good at their jobs. This office is a RARE find. On top of the wonderful office staff who have been perfect in every way… Dr. Swanson has helped me tremendously. When I first started seeing him last month, I could barely walk after herniating a disc in my lower back and was in constant horrible pain. Now, I am walking, the pain is tolerable and am on the road to recovery! Without surgery! I have recommended Dr. Swanson and his staff to my friends. Wonderful office — now if they would only teach other medical offices how it’s supposed to be done! ;)

Great place when you are feeling rough. Dr. Swanson and the ladies out front will get you in fast and not waste your time. They greet you with a smile and they know your name. They really seem to care for their patients well being. Dr. Swanson spends the time to explain what is going on and to answer questions. Very high on the recommend list.

Dr. Swanson saved my boyfriends back. He had hurt it in our move and had missed work for over 2 weeks. Dr Swanson took him the day we called to make an appointment. The office staff were so friendly they remembered our names every time we went in and they worked out a payment plan since he did not have insurance. He told him up front about how many visits he needed and it was pretty spot on. My boyfriend’s back is fine now he has some pains now and again and hes considering going back for another adjustment for maintenance. He was a great Doctor and way better than the other chiropractor we tried down the street. He actually listened to the problems and fit the treatment to his specific needs. Not treating him like cattle like the other Doctor. Thank you Dr. Swanson!

Dr. Swanson and his staff are professional, kind, understanding and excellent at what they do. I was in extreme pain. Lower back pain with severe muscle spasms. It hurt to lay down, to sit, to stand, to walk. After just 3 sessions my life was changed. The traction, the electronic acupuncture, the spinal manipulation, all of it has helped me tremendously. I have seen other chiropractors in the past, but I have never gotten relief like this before. This practice is truly amazing. I was in a car wreck in November of last year. I was smashed into from the back while I was hunched forward from slamming on the brakes to avoid the car in front of me. Needless to say, my back wasn’t in great shape after that. The worst thing about it was I had NEVER had back problems before so I was nervous that chiropractic care wasn’t going to be enough. I was also terrified of having timely, costly and chronic back issues. I work at a residential drug and alcohol facility. We see so many clients come in, addicted to pain killers BECAUSE of back pain. I wanted to avoid that at all costs.
Dr. Swanson is amazing. He is extremely patient, easygoing and a kind man. He suggested some different legal routes that I could take if I wanted to. I was grateful for his advice because I had never dealt with this type of thing before.
Dr. Swanson’s adjustments are quick, easy and pain free. He listened to all my concerns and was very thorough with his examination. I requested X-​rays and he ordered them, no questions asked. Since November, my back pain has slowly dissipated. I couldn’t ride on long car trips when we started my treatment and now I can ride in the car with no lower back pain! The two ladies who run his practice make up for a lot of my score. I adore them! They are always SO willing to help work around my crazy schedule. Since November, I have called every week needing to change or rarely cancel an appointment. I have never EVER heard a rude or snide comment from them after I have had to cancel an appointment nor when I call to switch appointment times. Another rare thing is they know ALL of their client’s names. It also seems like they know what’s going on in each client’s life. They always make sure to ask you how you are doing every time you come in regardless of if they are busy or not. Very effective customer service. Another bonus is that the office has an X-​ray machine in house. You get your X-​ray done and it can immediately be seen on Dr. Swanson’s computer screen.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Swanson for several years now. When I first went to him, I was in extreme pain, and could barely roll over in bed. I’ve been doing great ever since. You can trust him with your back problems.

I was unsure about chiropractors until I went to Dr. Swanson. He is extremely nice, helpful (explains everything) and cured my back and hip pain I had while pregnant. He did not push you into treatment plans just made recommendations and his staff is super nice and remembers you after your first visit– amazing with all the people that come through there.

I was recently contacted by Dr. Swanson’s office about reconsidering my review of the doctor and his practice. I decided to go back and look over my documents and consider his side of the situation. While I found that my paperwork still seems to support my initial review, Dr. Swanson brought up some good points in his defense.
I have come to a stalemate; it seems this is a case of he said/​he said. The doctor says one thing and the insurance adjuster said another. I can’t really prove who is «wrong» in this situation and because of this, I have decided to give the doctor another star (based on his excellent treatment).
I wish I could go back in time and sit down with everyone personally to get a better understanding of what happened. The adjuster said doctors always overprice their actual costs of treatment when insurance claims are mentioned and the doctor told me that insurance adjustor’s are unaware of what those actual treatment costs may be.
He said/​he said; and because I do believe one is innocent until proven guilty, I can no longer say in clear conscience the doctor is totally at fault for hijacking my compensation. Maybe he did, maybe he didn’t; maybe it was the insurance adjustor’s fault. I guess we’ll never know. =\
