My name is Mike Autrey, along with my wife (Morgan) and two sons (Austen and Colten), we are here to serve your every need. When you work with Bloomin’ Blinds, I think you will be pleasantly surprised… we focus on service, the kind you only get with the small family company. Customer service IS and ALWAYS will be our first priority. Our products are manufactured locally and with the volume discounts we receive, you will find our prices hard to beat. We are quick to price match if you find a lower quote on the same caliber of product. As a full service blind company, you will be able to use your money wisely, we are a retail company as well as a full service repair facility. If your blinds only need repair, we are happy to help there. Many are often surprised at how affordable it is to repair a blind or shade. We will never try to sell you something that is not needed. Everyone at Bloomin’ Blinds is a full time/​salaried employee, a commissioned sales person will never work for Bloomin’ Blinds. If it’s a new blind/​shade/​shutter that you need, please call us today for a no pressure, in-​home consultation. All estimates are free and we will take the time to listen to what you are wanting to accomplish and help you achieve those results. All blind repairs are done on-​site, with few exceptions. Established in 2001.

Bloomin’ Blinds is still the rare small family company. However we are growing everyday. Our Dallas location is where it all began, after 15 years in business in Dallas Bloomin’ Blinds has taken over the DFW market for all things blinds, shades, and shutter related. We are now up and running in Austin, Tx. We service all cities in and around the Austin area. We offer a full line of blinds, shades, and shutters. But unlike many people we also offer a full in home repair service for all window treatments, as well as a cleaning service for your blinds, shades and shutters too.

Called Mike about repairing 6 blinds (didn’t even know there was a such thing as blind repair) and we setup an appt. one week later. He came out, very professional and on time, replaced the strings on 5 of our blinds, and fixed 2 others. The pricing was very reasonable and my wife and I are very satisfied with the end result. I’d highly recommend Bloomin’ Blinds to anyone.

After a very frustrating meeting and super expensive quote with a sales lady from a local window store, I looked up Bloomin Blinds. Mike was super easy to work with and wasn’t pushy. In fact, my husband decided he didn’t like the shutters I ordered and Mike was able to cancel it, no questions asked. We did end up getting them in the end, but I appreciate Mike accommodating us first as customers and not trying to pressure us in order to keep the sale.
The shutters and blinds we ordered were very reasonable. I also liked that I only had to deal with one person. Installation was quick and easy, and Mike even installed our old blinds from before our remodel. I’m very happy with our experience and would recommend to anyone.

One person owned and installed. I like the one man team as its more personal. Mike is a great guy and for that he gets a 5 star. Any issues I’ve had after install he comes out as early as possible. To be honest service is sometimes more important than the product that’s why I give Bloomin blinds a 5star. The blinds could be better built, but warranty and Mike take care of that.

I never ever write reviews, but I had such a great experience with this company I just felt compelled. They were the only place I could find in Austin willing to repair my plantation shutters. My shutters have these plastic connectors that had started breaking on nearly every window throughout the house. They contacted me within an hour of submitting a request online, had me take a picture and text it over to confirm the connector, verified he could fix them and was out within 2 days. They were all fixed within an hour and at such a reasonable price! What I thought was going to be replacing thousands of dollars worth of shutters, turned into a much simpler and cheaper task, thanks to Bloomin Blinds. Honest and professional company.

I had all of the blinds in my condo replaced by Bloomin’ Blinds and they are just what I wanted: great looking and well constructed. Mike provided terrific service. One very large floor to ceiling wall of windows required precision manufacturing and installation. Mike provided both and came back in a timely way to tweak it to make it perfect. His prices were also very competitive. Without hesitation, I can recommend this company.

I contacted Mike from Bloomin Blinds after reading the great reviews on Unilocal.I am very happy I did. I love the 2 ½″ faux wood blinds I purchased from him. They are gorgeous. I love that they are made in Mc Kinney TX. The price was very reasonable considering I did not have to lift a finger. He measured, ordered, and installed the blinds.

Contacted Bloomin’ Blinds for repairs to several sets of blinds at our home, from one set 108″ wide to several others 36″ — 40″ wide, all with various problems affecting smooth operation. Mike did an excellent job responding quickly and bringing out everything that was needed to make all the repairs on the spot. Mike is very punctual, courteous and knowledgable, and Bloomin Blinds provides an outstanding value.

Mike is unbelievable. Efficient, friendly and knows how to repair blinds. Also, very inexpensive compared to blinds we’ve had repaired in the past.
We had a few blinds needing repair. Mike said he could repair them at our home or bring them to his shop (you save the $ 29 – 39 fee if you bring them to him). Anticipating I would drop them off and not get back for a few days, Mike looked at the 4 blinds needing repair and said ‚“if you have a couple minutes, I can just repair them why you wait and you won’t have to worry about driving back here «. Don’t know if I’ve ever had anybody tell me that… customer service to the max.
I ran one errand, returned about 40 minutes later and he was finished.
Great guy, great business and very friendly.
Would recommend Bloomin for any blind repair.

Mike provided one of the greatest customer experiences I’ve ever had with a company. Can’t recommend him enough.
We were moving into a brand new house and had literally no idea what we needed to do to cover our windows. We considered trying to do it ourselves, but eventually turned to Unilocal to try to find a full service operation. We called several places, but Mike at Bloomin Blinds was easily the most responsive and accommodating. He came out to our house, completely free of charge, measured all of the windows, and provided us a spreadsheet that listed all of our windows, dimensions, and covering options.
He then met with us to discuss our options and to show samples, and even let us take a few home so we could see how they looked. I’d like to emphasize that at no point in this process was Mike «sales-​y» at all. He simply asked us questions and tried to help us find the most reasonable solutions for house and budget. Really a phenomenal experience.
When it came time to install, Mike was well prepared and incredibly knowledgeable. He gave us a thorough description of how all the blinds worked, how to care for them, and let us know he’d be happy to fix any issues we may have with them. At the time, we had just moved into our house and we didn’t even have a refrigerator yet, and Mike actually offered me a bottle of water. A true professional.
To sum up, we couldn’t have had a better experience with something we thought would be very overwhelming. If you’re considering getting blinds and live in the Austin area, Mike at Bloomin’ Blinds is your man.

We had several shades in need of repair. We looked at buying new, but why do that when they could be fixed? Mike arrived when he said he would and got us all fixed up. Three honey-​dos off the list! I’ve had a fairly wide (over 10 ft wide) blind that was broken for quite some time. Stumbled onto Bloomin Blinds and it was one of the only places that fixes blinds and actually comes to your home to do the repair. The service call price is listed right on his website and getting an appointment was fairly painless.
Mike came over and replaced a bunch of parts that were broken and got my blinds functional again in about one hour. Quick service, easy payment process and he was a pleasure to have in my home. My only regret is that I did not get it fixed sooner!
