My Pet’s MVP

I rarely provide reviews on Unilocal for anything but Dr. R Roark was amazing. My parents 12 yr old German shepherd could no longer get up and barely eating or drinking, basically immobilized. Calling all the animal clinics and vets in the area, I was told that we would need to bring the dog to them. Imagine trying to carry an 80 pounds German Shepherd to the car to bring him to an animal clinic. Found My Pet’s MVP on Unilocal where they advertised mobile vets and I was referred to Dr. Roark. I can’t say enough good things about her. In the end the decision was to euthanize a member of our family and he’s now in Dog Heaven. Besides being professional, Dr. Roark was also very sensitive and compassionate in the process. I would highly recommend her.

We live in Plano and our 17 year old rescue kitty was having some issues. I had tried once before to take her to the vet I’ve used for years but she was beyond terrified! Thanks to an article in the Dallas Morning News from last year, I contacted Dr. Daily and My Pet’s MVP. They came to our home and I could not have asked for a better experience! Dr. Daily and her husband, Glen, were simply amazing in the manner in which they handled our baby. Plus! their mobile clinic is literally state of the art! They can even do surgery if necessary! What an amazing service especially for elder pets or any other for that matter! Except for the trip charge, $ 45, their prices are comparable to my former vet… I HIGHLY recommend!

Hurray for My Pet’s MVP!!! :) They have an amazing mobile facility with EVERYTHING — can even do surgeries on site! I got the cutest ID for my cat when he got his shots. :) They are very knowledgeable and charge a small traveling fee. Their prices are on par with other vets or even less in some cases, which evens out the traveling charge. So worth it so that I don’t have to try to stuff my cats into carriers and take the terrified fur balls to a vet office!

The My Pet’s MVP vehicle is truly a work of art. You have to see it to believe it! Dr. Dailey is the kindest and most compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian I have ever met.
My first call to My Pet’s MVP was to request an appointment for my pug, Miss Molly. I fully expected a receptionist to answer the phone but was pleasantly surprised when the actual veterinarian, Dr. Dailey, did!
I went over what happened, explaining that Molly had caught her nail in a gap in the elevator and her nail snapped off at the base. There was a lot of bleeding, and I used the quick-​stop talc powder to help it clot and the bleeding had since stopped. I explained that I was worried about potential infection and further injury that I couldn’t see.
Dr. Dailey listened without interruption, asked questions, then reassured me that although it looked scary it wasn’t dire since I had stopped the bleeding. She instructed me on how to properly care for the wound, including how to wrap it to help keep infection away. We set an appointment for the next day.
The next day Dr. Dailey called ahead to let us know they were on their way. When she arrived she cleaned Molly’s wound, inspected it, and dressed and wrapped it. She thoroughly went over Molly’s known medical history (we adopted Molly when she was 7) from us and her previous owner (first mom), which included test results and prescribed medication for struvite crystals, seizures, and respiration difficulties. She also did a full exam on Molly and noted the ear wax buildup in Molly’s ears. We told her what drops we were using, prescribed by another vet, to try and clear it up and she suggested and applied a medicated ointment that’s sticky and left for a couple weeks. Dr. Dailey prescribed antibiotics along with a safe pain med to ease Molly’s pain and prevent infection in her paw.
Two weeks later at our follow up appointment Dr. Dailey reexamined Molly, checking the progress of her broken nail and ear situation. Her nail was healing well with no signs of infection and her ear buildup was almost gone. She reapplied the ear ointment & two weeks later Molly’s ears were completely healed! Since then her nail has healed and grown back in.

Dr Dailey is wonderful. It is also perfect if your animals do not tolerate travel well. I would highly recommend their services for all of your pets and vet needs. She treated our older kitty with so much love, compassion and gentle care. When end of life came for our dear pet she also treated us humans with care and compassion. She is very accessible and speaking directly to the vet when you call is such a benefit! Their rates seem comparable to a stationary practice even though I would probably pay much more to have Dr Dailey care for my pets. Shhh, don’t tell her though ;)

Dr. Dalley and Glen were awesome. They made an appointment with a very quick turnaround and called before they showed up to advised they were on their way. Upon arrival, I received a tour of their facilities, who needs a brick and mortar office? This was very impressive. They took such good care of all of my girls. They treat them and me with respect. Explained everything they were doing and let me know that the girls seemed healthy and well cared for. One of the reasons I chose Debby was from the other Unilocal review which portrayed her as compassionate which is very important to me. She took blood and gave shots and even in the way she spoke to them, I could see that compassion. If you’re looking for a great vet who comes to you, has a great table side manner and reasonable rates, My Pet’s MVP is a great way to go. I know she has lifelong patients in my pets.

One of our sweet pet’s life was nearing the end and we needed help to give her a peaceful passing. Doc & her helper came to our home and with much compassion explained each step of the process and offered comfort. I can’t thank them enough for the «good» experience. Highly recommend their services.
