Melissa’s Signature Styles

I found Melissa here on Unilocal,after driving an hour, to find the salon I was going to, out of business. I sent her a message and she promptly replied.
It was a devine meeting. She was so sweet and kind. She was professional. She worked me in. She was gentle with my natural hair and I could tell that she knew her craft. I went in for a full sew in and I absolutely loved my results. (I’m the curly headed client, cheesing from ear to ear, in her photos).She took the time to give me some pointers and suggestions as to when I should return for a tightening, wash, and recurl.
The only reason I did not give her 5 stars, the price. Omg! I’m a fairly new weave wearer. I took in curly hair. I know that my service took some time, but $ 170 seemed a little steep. I did not expect the price of the chain salon I had intended to visit. I was already there, I needed my hair done, so I paid it.
I’m glad that I found Melissa. I’ll go back. Just gotta get over the sticker shock!
