Description

Specialties

Dick’s offers great food at affordable prices for breakfast and lunch. Serving breakfast all day every day, we also cater at our place or at yours and make sure it is tailored to fit your event and your budget.

From Mom’s French Toast to our menu of Messes (think every good part about breakfast piled onto one plate), every meal is made fresh to order and served any time of the day. Our lunch menu boasts a delicious collection of Uptown Burgers, deli sandwiches, and our staple Taco Salads.

Enjoy a more «toned down» version of Dick’s with your family, friends, or significant others, and feast on a Chicken Rosemary Salad with Teril’s secret (but DELICIOUS) dressing, a piping hot Rib Eye or any of our other drool-inducing menu items.

History

Established in 1985.

Dick’s Uptown Café is family owned and operated by long time Cedar Hill residents Dick & Teril Woodward. After opening Woodway’s Café in downtown Dallas in 1985, Dick opened up Woody’s Grill, Rico’s Tex-Mex and Café Esprit. Recently, Dick and Teril decided to keep the focus on their community restaurant that is Dick’s Uptown Café. They figured that it was time to quit the commute to the other restaurants and time to focus on their community in the Best Southwest.

Meet the Business Owner

Teril W.

Business Owner

Dick has been in the restaurant business in the Dallas & Fort Worth areas for most of his life. He has gone from the Sail-maker to the Railhead and finally with his own place in downtown Dallas in 1985. He and his wife Teril have raised their two daughters in Cedar Hill and love operating the restaurant in their community. The motto at Dick’s is «Where Locals Meet,» because if you live here, you can’t come in without seeing someone that you know!
