PMO Advisory is a consulting and training firm. We have the most extensive project management certification training courses in the world today, and our customers are literally from all corners of the world. For example, in project management alone, we offer a total of 10 certification courses including PMP, CAPM, PMI-​RMP, PMI-​ACP, PfMP, PgMP, MSP Fundamental, MSP Practitioner, PRINCE2 Fundamental, and PRINCE2 Practitioner. Our training are offered online, live virtual, classroom, and onsite. On consulting, our specialty is strategy implementation, utilizing the very discipline that we teach.

History

Established in 2012.

PMO Advisory started a consulting firm in 2012 by Mr. Te Wu, a project executive with KPMG at that time and a college professor. He was inspired by the need to contribute to society and PMO Advisory has always balanced its social mission with traditional business goals. As an aspiring B Corp, the firm focuses intensely on helping professionals grow, be more competitive, and reach their maximum potential. In 2014, after becoming one of the first to achieve the Portfolio Management Professional certification, Prof. Wu shifted the company’s direction toward training. Today, PMO Advisory continues its tradition of supporting social mission (through vast quantity of free materials and fee discounts to certain classes of professionals) and deepening its expertise in project and other business management. Prof. Wu continues to teach at multiple schools in the New York area, including Montclair State University and New York University.

Business Owner

Te Wu is CEO of PMO Advisory LLC, a management consulting firm that specializes in Strategic Business Execution including portfolio, program, and project management. He is also a business school professor at Montclair State University. Te has more than 20 years of experience in management consulting, having worked with industry leaders such as KPMG, Accenture, Oracle, Kraft, Standard and Poor’s, Chase Bank, LexisNexis, Lumina Foundation, and Weill Cornell.

As a college professor at Montclair State University, Stevens Institute, Touro Graduate School of Business, and most recently New York University, Te has been teaching for over 14 years. Te is one of few, estimated at less than 50 in the world, professionals certified in Portfolio (PfMP)®, Program (PgMP)®, Project Management (PMP)®, and Risk Management (PMI-​RMP)®. He is also a researcher, author, speaker, board member of three education institution, and committee member of the Portfolio Management Standard Committee at PMI.
