Bambina’s Cucina

I’m very excited that Bambina’s Cucina is now open. The young ladies who have opened this café have an excellent reputation around Cedar Grove for crafting the finest baked goods and home style (mostly Italian) cooking. So, we’re happy to have this option on a daily basis, rather than just by special order.
I stopped in today with a coworker and had a simple and hearty lunch.
Sausage and Pepper Sandwhich (today’s special)

The sausage and pepper sandwich was super yummy and Big. Just the right bread to sausage to pepper ratio. Red sauce was optional, which I thought was a nice touch because I could go either way on that, depending on the day. And, they toasted the bread for me. Idk, I guess you can just taste it when their is care put into your sandwich.
My friend had the Mama Bella sandwich which looked great. I think he commented that it was «awesome». I was pretty quickly focused on my own sandwich, but I had a quick look at his and from what I saw, it was a pretty serious breaded chicken cutlet sandwich with fresh mozz and a nice big piece of roasted red pepper.
My sandwich came with a side of homemade macaroni salad. How do I know it was homemade? Because it was really good and, you can’t buy macaroni salad with the pasta al dente. You have to make it in house. Other salad selections included potato, and spicy potato.
I also had a look at their baked goods, including homemade blueberry muffins, corn muffins, and scones. I wanted to go 5 stars on this place, but I have to try their blueberry muffins before I can do that. Guess I’ll go back tomorrow, and do an update after I’ve tried the baked goods.
Keep up the good work, Ladies! The world needs more places like Bambina’s Cucina!
