I won’t bore you with the details but I took my car in due to temperature gauge ready hot and warning message coming on. I am from out of town visiting relatives and it was on a Sat. So not many options to find a place open. The short of it is that I was told it needed a water pump, thermostat, and sensor for $ 1,800 but then told they made a mistake and they could do it for $ 1,400. I decided to take it to another place and got it fixed for $ 180.00 as it only needed a sensor. Pretty scary for those of you who live in Cedar Falls.
