Smart Tech, formerly Iowa Computer Forensics, was born in early 2006 to bring to the Cedar Valley the first company dedicated to the forecsic examination of computers.

By having on staff one of the first 500 Certified Computer Examiners in the world, we are able to bring our services to business of all sizes, attorneys and anyone else who might need a computer examined. With our pricing structure we are also able to service the needs of the individual.

We offer data recovery for failing or failed hard drives, password recovery and forensic examinations. Our staff includes a Computer Examiner with over 20 years of Law Enforcement experience.

Business Owner

Steve Crozier is a 23+ year veteran of the Waterloo, Iowa Police Department. He was one of the first 500 Certified Computer Examiners in the world and currently brings his business to both companies and individuals.

Along with Computer Examinations he does data recovery, data destruction, password recovery and has recently expanded into home networking for home automation, audio and video.
