This theater is close to home and typically has a good selection of movies and show times. It’s clean and well maintained. Good variety at the concession stand too. We don’t go too often because of price. Try to hit a early show to save money or Tuesday nights there are discounted tickets. Popcorn is expensive but worth it when paired with an icee.

Great theater. The only real complaints I have are the prices of EVERYTHING. Tickets are insane, and when you buy one ticket, popcorn, and a drink, you end up sending close to $ 30, if not more. It is a nice experience, but I personally wouldn’t recommend making it a regular thing, especially when you can drive 20 miles and go to Grundy Center theater for a quarter of the price.

Went to see the Hobbit, bought popcorn and my experience all around was fine. Didn’t pay attention to how clean the theater I went to was, maybe it was since I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. The chaser for tickets and popcorn where decent, not very customer friendly, just fine teenage/younger«adult» looking kids.

Marcus Theater’s is one of my favorite movie theaters around. They usually have about 12 different screens going each day with some 3D options mixed in. The screens are a good size but they don’t have an ultra screen like the theater in Waterloo. The seats are great and you can easily recline without bumping the person behind you. Its also a very clean theater, I can’t recall ever feeling sticky feet or seeing popcorn laying around. Ticket prices aren’t too steep with regular pricing being $ 9.50 and matinée at $ 7.50. The best perk they offer is $ 5 Tuesdays and $ 5 Student Thursdays. Since it is near a college town they also have indie spotlights where you can see indie films that normally wouldn’t be in a big theater. The staff is always really friendly and accommodating. Overall this place is absolutely great and you get to see some great movies for decent prices. I will definitely be going back here and I can’t recommend it enough.

I went to go see«OZ the Great and Powerful» and although I was entertained by the movie, I was not happy with the cleanliness of the place. I speak only of theater room 2. It was filthy with left over garbage from the previous showing and not to mention an overhead panel was open and swinging loose a few rows up. I could only imagine what would happen if it fell and hurt someone.
