Beautiful venue for quality productions. Doreen Woolley is the best pianist before matinée plays! Good selection of merchandise and concessions. Could use more bathrooms and drinking fountains. Comfortable seats with good acoustics and sight lines.

This is a great family weekend get away, my wife and I saw South Pacific and Charlie’s Aunt. Both were great and will leave you in stitches. The chairs are comfortable, the building is nice and cool which is great when it gets warm. The stage, the actors(you will see them in different plays), the orchestra(not all performances will have live music) are just amazing and I look forward to coming back every year.

This theatre is part of Southern Utah University and, subsequently, the Utah Shakespeare festival. This festival occurs each summer from June to October, it’s plays vary and are most frequent until the end of August. They are world class productions. The festival is something you should definitely checkout if you are in town during the summer months. This theatre is indoor, in addition to an outdoor replica Globe theatre. Go to the shows and have some fun! Prices are reasonable if you search a few days in advance. They don’t change, but seating definitely does as the play approaches is curtain time. Enjoy!

Just watched South Pacific and it was fantastic. Only wished there wasn’t tall people in front of us. Other than that, the play production was entertaining. The chairs are comfortable, the building is temperature controlled(a little on the chilly side so layer up if you get cold easily), and the scenery is phenomenal. It’s amazing how they can do so many different plays in the same season on the same stage. Some of the actors even double dip into other plays too(how do they remember all those lines). The theatre even offers pillows and blankets(ask what the terms and conditions are). If you’re in Cedar City during the right times, I totally recommend going to a play here.
