Hong Kong Buffet is a great amount of food for a great price. There is always a wide variety of soups, traditional Chinese restaurant entrees, seafood and sushi. I have yet to try anything there I didn’t like. The servers are always very polite and attentive. The best part is definitely the sushi though as it is made quite literally in front of you. One con is no alcohol, but for that price I can survive.

great deal. Have salmon, shrimps and sushi. most importantly they’re delicious. We came across cedar city and found this place. I am surprised to find a Chinese buffet where the population is mostly white.

The quality of the food is substandard. There is the lack of taste. The positive things are the number of choices, relative low cost, and the quick access to food. Kids seem to like it.

My wife and I were very surprised when we stopped for lunch at Hong Kong buffet. The buffet offerings were extensive. There was plenty to choose from including desserts. The food was good but some of the menu items were cold because they have been sitting out for a while. We arrived at about 2 o’clock and that may be the reason some of the slower moving menu items were not hot. They were under heat lamps but the lamps did not keep the food hot. Despite this one issue the meal was good and we will return when we pass through Cedar city again

Who would have thought there would be a Chinese buffet in Cedar City, a small town with a majority of whites? Who would have thought Chinese buffets would serve decent food? Who would have thought they would have some of the best ribs and crab? No, no and no, but yes, yes and yes, they all happened. So much variety for a cheap price with friendly service, clean grounds and good quality food in a small town when you come with no expectation, of course it’s a 5 star! I am never a fan of BBQ ribs, but I think I ate 4 big pieces. Not a fan for skimpy crab legs either because it’s not worth my effort but I had half a dozen of those. Maybe I was just really hungry, but as I recall, my standards don’t compromise much even when I’m hungry because I live in a first-world country. Anyhow, they have lots to choose from, chow mein, fried rice, veggies, stir fry, not much of a sushi selection, but unless you want to get sick, eating sushi at a buffet where the storage temperature is not optimal is generally a bad idea. The most important thing about a buffet, is that the tables and floor are clean. Also, it didn’t look ghetto at all. Wow, keep it up Hong Kong Buffet! I’m happy that their name didn’t bring shame to my hometown!

Who expects a Chinese Buffet to offer really great food? Plentiful, reasonably priced, lots of fresh vegetable, sure, but great? Yes, here in this place it happens. Pot stickers crisp from the pan. Truly excellent hot sour soup. Green beans with black bean sauce perfectly balanced. Even the tea, served in a tea pot with the proper small tea cups was delicious. Highly recommended.

Was there on a Thursday night in March 2015. $ 11 each for all you can eat. Very typical North American style Chinese food. It was very tasty and there was a great wide selection. One unexpected touch was they also had a sushi station with fresh made offerings, They were VERY good as was the hot and sour soup, Those two were the class of the show but as I said the rest tasted just fine too. Value for mooney very good. For an all you can eat Chinese buffet this is one of the better ones I have been to. The place is not licensed for wine or beer.

Great food and fresh. Kids loves the ice cream with 4 choices mint chips, cookies and cream, vanilla and strawberry. Friendly staff considering its a chinese buffet. If you are at Utah try this place and you wont be dissapointed. Hope you are closer to LA, dinner is like 10.99 with crabs and fried shrimp. Thumbs up

This place is awesome! I am not sure what other people are expecting for $ 10 in Cedar City for Sunday brunch? I tried lots of different food and I was pleasantly surprised looking at the reviews. Whenever I go back to Cedar, I will definitely try this out.

After a long drive from Torrey, it was nice to find a solid place for some food. This buffet is a rank better than your standard run of the mill Chinese buffet. Great value and selection for their dinner buffet.

Finding a good place away from home sometimes is hard. My guy likes spicy so a place that makes their own chili oil is a plus. They do! He was satisfied with the«hot» . The buffet is full and varied. Some breakfast choices(American as well as Chinese) lots of traditional dishes and a great looking sushi bar manned by a great guy. The staff was attentive and friendly. I love Hot and Sour soup, it was perfect. I tried so many things and ate too much! Oh well that’s what buffets are for right? The mussels looked fresh, I had two different types of shrimp; both perfect. All the vegetables were fresh and crisp and delicious. How else do I say it? Glad we found you!

Dear Hong Kong Buffet, Oh gloriousness that is an all you can eat Chinese buffet in Southern Utah. An unexpected oasis in a land of meat and potatoes and salads made primarily of cold cuts, you were a saving grace. I was pleasantly surprised, no, shocked by how delicious things were. Your fried items were delicate and delightful(Super yummy french fries, what?!!), your black bean green beans were a vegetarian’s heaven and your hot and sour soup was hot AND sour! Your sushi was edible. Which, to me, is pretty darn good for a buffet that costs all of $ 7 for adults and a gradient of $ 3-$ 4.50 for kids at lunch time. Unlimited ginger? Yes, please! My children were all about your desserts. Four different ice creams with cones, cakes, jello, fresh fruit, cookies, three types of pudding? A veritable sugar wonderland. Our experience was so stellar that we enjoyed you two days in a row and still speak fondly of your food. In fact, when asked what his most favorite part of the trip to Utah was, my eight year old son answers«The buffet». Haha! Didn’t really need to buy those train ticket, did I… Thanks for being awesome. Sincerely, Angela

Family of 5−−−3 teenagers and 2 adults. We went after a long day of skiing. We were hungry, yes, but the place is a REALFIND! Here is what we loved: sushi, all you can eat and great!, the price, the mussels, beef and broccoli, the salad bar(romaine with 5 veggies and only ranch, but hey…), chow mein, ice cream, almond cookies, sugar donuts, all the seafood(esp. the mussels and clams… bit overcooked), the service!!! What was just OK: The fried food, the salmon.

It’s a buffet. Stuff get old and soups get thick. Sushi is the strength here. Just wait in front of the sushi chef and when he places the roll on the line, take it.

Tasty Chinese food in Cedar City??? You betcha! So I am not a buffet type of person, but I ended up here with a big group because I was out voted. Story of my life… Back to the point though. We stopped at the Hong Kong Buffet in Cedar City for lunch when we were on our way to Dixie National Forest for a camping trip this past weekend. We were all pretty hungry since we had been on the road for about 3 hours. We pulled in and were greeted by delicious smells. Yummy! We get in and start looking around and I see all sorts of beautiful food. They had all of the usual Chinese food offerings, but everything looked better and smelled tastier than what I usually find at these places. My personal favorites were the chicken pan fried dumplings, black pepper chicken, hot and sour soup, and the crab rangoons. I ended up eating at least 10 dumplings and just as many crab rangoons. I’m a piggy, I know! The crab rangoons here were the best rangoons I have ever eaten in my whole life, including the ones I had in Beijing, China! I’m not joking at all. BESTEVER! If I could have eaten 10 more, I would have. They also had a sushi bar. I don’t do sushi, but my hubby loved it and had a huge plate of sushi. In fact everyone in the group had a huge plate of sushi. I am just the odd man out, again. The sushi was being made right out front, so it was really pretty fresh. It was also very pretty, for what it matters. The service is what you would expect at any buffet. The price was quite reasonable for the quality as well being about $ 7 per person. So overall, it was ok. I would totally go back to eat an entire plate of dumplings and another full plate of crab ran goons. Yummy!
