Chad Hunter is a serious life saver!!! I have a giant 11 month old cane corso who was getting very territorial and reactive. He was making me nervous, and I had no idea how to fix his behavior! I was terrified that he was going to bite someone, and that is a vicious cycle of my nerves worsening his behavior. We sent him to Chad for the 3 week course (which is SO well-​priced!) and got back a new guy! His training is so comprehensive, it includes training there as well as loads of follow up. Chad is so patient and thorough, I never felt rushed or stupid. Chad and Andrew and the staff at Hunter Canine have changed our lives!!! Ronin is so balanced and I am well equipped to fix any problems that come up!!!

Hunter Canine is the best place to go for all your dog training needs. Their level of expertise is beyond compare. They have multiple packages to fit all dog training and sporting needs. They trained our very out of control 8 month old malinios with high drive and mouthing and chewing issues. We did a three week very competitively priced training camp. All of his issues have been resolved and he is a dream to have in our home. Thank you very much to Hunter Canine for everything you have done for our family.

I am so pleased with the 3 week training camp for Cali my 3 year old blue heeler. She was getting out of control at home because she was obsessed with me and even growled at other family members when they were walking down the hall towards me. She also would get too excited when friends would come over and it’s was a struggle to calm her down. She would not let up when she wanted to play and was very obnoxious about it. I am so thankful to Andrew, Chad and his trainers because she is a totally different dog in a good way. They have also trained us humans to better understand her and her needs. We have to continue training at home which is not difficult because of the amazing work they did with her! THANK YOU Hunter Canine!

Hunter K9 kennels are by far the best in the valley and perhaps in the country. The kennels are run by Chad and his team of trainers, all of whom pay close attention to every single dog and their individual attributes, which makes them able to help us humans to handle our furry friends, therefore have a closer relationship with mans best friend. We have taken our Belgium Malinois Kenzi and soon will be taken our new Puppy to Chad and Andrew for training, they are the best. their Facilty is top notch and they treat you as part of their canine family we love them

AMAZING! Hunter Canine took my «babies» (full grown boxers), and taught them how to be a pleasure to have in the house, on a walk, or when guests are around. Everything I was hoping for.
I chose the 2 week sleep away camp so I wouldn’t screw them up between classes. How much can a dog learn in 2 weeks? Answer: more than most people! They learned how to not drown. (I would say swimming but that sounds like an enjoyable activity which for them it is not.) They learned how to alert to rattlesnakes which was extremely important to me since I have a young daughter. They also learned all the basic commands. They have manners now! And I have an immensely better understanding of my dogs!
Although Hunter Canine offers training for guard dogs, that wasn’t what I was looking for. I just wanted people, like my 96 yr old grandfather, to be able to come to the house without getting knocked down or annoyed. If they didn’t bolt out the front door when I opened it, that would be a bonus. I GOT THE BONUS!
I recently moved to AZ from the East Coast and have literally looked for training from coast to coast. Hunter Canine offered the best package for my needs. A beautiful, impeccably maintained facility, top of the line training and care for my dogs, and follow up classes for me and my daughter. Once we are confident in our abilities, we will be taking the course for the dogs to get their Good Citizen Certification and if we feel really ambitious, we can also do agility training!

Two weeks ago my two adult dogs returned from Hunter Canine’s 2 week Stay and Train program. After searching for a trainer for some time, I came across Chad and Andrew in Cave Creek, AZ. At first I was skeptical if my dogs could be trained at their age. Chad and Andrew reassured me that despite their age and breed they can become well-​mannered members of the family. Upon dropping the boys off I had a consultation with Andrew and he described the program. After the first week, I got a full demonstration on what the boys had been working on. I was completely amazed as to the progress that had been accomplished in such a short time. After the program was complete I spent an hour with Chad and Andrew working with dogs and most importantly teaching me how to continue the training at home.
The most impressive portion of this entire transformation has been the amount of time and energy Chad and Andrew spend teaching the owners on how to properly communicate with the dogs. They break it down in a very simple, practical and easy to understand process. After, completing 2 of the 4 group training sessions, I now feel confident in my ability to handle my dogs responsibly and confidently.
My boys were terrified of water, the package came with 2 swimming lessons and they are now no longer afraid of the water, in fact they love it. I added the rattle snake awareness training and after watching the boys alert and respond to LIVE rattle snakes, it was truly impressive.
