The Catskill Country Store was opened in December of 2011 by Chuck Solberg. Chuck also operates a farm in Medusa, NY and a farm stand in East Durham, NY. A believer in the local food movement, Chuck opened the Catskill Country Store to provide the community with a place to get fresh, local, and delicious food right in the village.
During the growing season all of the produce (with the exception of citrus fruits) will be sourced from Chuck’s farm or other local farms. Obviously, in the winter months, produce will come from greenhouses or the southern states.
