I bought an icomfort mattress. I was told I would be getting a matching bed frame that is made just for the icomfort. What got was just a mattress and box spring. When I called my sales person, he asked if i signed for it? When I said yes, I was told that is all I was getting. I have called and emailed many times and their reply, so what we stole your money

It seems that the only time appliance and home improvement stores get reviews is when they screw up. So, let me post one where they don’t. I bought a new LG high-efficiency washing machine from hhgregg. I went to the store having done my research ahead of time. Knowing what you want is crucial to minimizing the sales-person runaround in any large retail purchase, BTW. The unit was on sale, had a $ 100 energy efficiency rebate, and a full rebate on home delivery for purchases over $ 500. Once I told the floor guy what I wanted, he had my order processed and delivery scheduled within 10 minutes. No pushy service plan sales — they were offered, I refused, and we moved on. Other retailers had a 1 – 4 week delivery time for the unit I wanted. hhgregg could deliver it in two days. I scheduled a Friday delivery for an order placed on Monday. The night before, they called to verify address and phone contact information. Another automated call verified a delivery window. The next morning, the delivery driver called to provide advance notice of their arrival. The crew showed up, helped remove the back door to fit the unit through, removed the old machine, and installed the new one. They connected everything, leveled the machine, tested that it was working properly, helped put the door back in the frame, and packed out all the trash. Done in about 15 – 20 minutes. Perfectly professional and friendly guys, too. All in all, a pretty seamless purchasing and delivery experience, and better than deliveries I’ve had in the past(Hi, Sears!). So hey, lemme give an appliance business their props when they deserve it.

Went here to purchase a washing machine. The guy who helped us was pure«used car salesman». He tried hard to upsell us on a more expensive front loader when I asked for a cheaper top-loader. He tried to make me justify my decision to him(WTF?). Seriously, this store is full of sleaze-balls and I won’t be going to another one.

Awful store. They only had the floor model of the item I needed(air conditioner). I stated I would just go to the Home Depot next door unless they would make a price adjustment. They knocked a whooping $ 5 off, but since the item hadn’t been really being used in store, I agreed. Paid and waited in the pick up area for over 30 minutes. Finally was able to flag someone down, turns out the issue was they couldn’t find the box the item had some in(which I had been guaranteed existed before I made the purchase). Got the item home before it dawned on me that that meant the window installation piece was in that box. Tried to contact customer service for the store(and the A/C manufacturer, Haier) to no avail. Each pinned the problem on the other, so I essentially wasted my money, since the A/C has to be rigged with foam and tape in the window. Considering they filled they locations of a similar store that had gone bankrupt, you’d think they would focus more on actually pleasing customers so people would return. I will NEVER shop at this store again.

I got my Droid X at this store and the 2 people who waited on me seemed to be completely clueless. I’ve only been in there a few times and every time I go in, the salespeople bug you constantly«can I help you blah blah blah» but if you actually ask a question they never seem to know anything. Annoying yet completely clueless. Plus, their prices are higher than Best Buy, which makes no sense considering the lousy service. You’d think that lower standards would at least equate to lower prices… but no way. My advice is to avoid hh gregg.
