Desert Appliance was referred by our home warranty company. They did not call to set up an appt after two days of being notified by them so we called to set up an appt. They were to evaluate and fix our electric stove burner that only worked on high for a minute then cycled down or off. It didn’t work on any other setting. My husband was there when the appliance tech came by but wasn’t really aware of the problem (he doesn’t cook :)) but told him which burner was not working correctly. The tech turned the burner on high for a minute, stated it was working correctly and left with our $ 60. He didn’t check any other setting on that burner to see if it worked at a lower setting (which it did not). When I reported this back to Desert Appliance the person who answered the phone curtly told me she would speak to the tech when he came in later that day. She didn’t call me back so I called the next AM. She stated he hadn’t arrived yet. When I called a couple hours later she stated she hadn’t talked to him and would when he got back in the afternoon. I told her I thought she was just avoiding this issue and wasn’t really planning to do anything about it and so I would let my home warranty co. know about this. She stated that «was fine, you do that». She also NEVER apologized for my dissatisfaction with her tech or cared that he didn’t do his job adequately. When I asked also if I could talk to the manager, she stated she was the manager. I should have asked to talk to the owner but frankly now am glad I didn’t as I wouldn’t really want to have anything to do with this company after all.

another good experience with Desert Appliance. I’m a chef with a commercial kitchen in my home, and this was the second time an appliance needed repairs. The first was an easy fix, costing little. This time was more costly but I did my research before scheduling an appt. and the price quote they gave was surprisingly lower than other companies. I needed the compressor replaced in my fridge and it was fixed with a guarantee. Even the office operation is great,…they called the day before the part was to be installed with a time & exact cost. Very happy with this company!

Great experience with this company. Appt. was scheduled for an oven that went out and no longer heated… they showed up on time. Problem fixed in 15 minutes with them having the needed part on the truck. Cost was very reasonable & will be using them again for sure if needed for any other appliance troubles–

Referred to Desert Appliance by Home Warranty co — this was after the first co couldn’t come out for 6 days. Desert Appliance called promptly and set up appt for the next morning. Two professional repair men came on time. They diagnosed and fixed the problem plus fixed an additional problem w/​the microwave. I was very pleased and can recommend them.

Had a home warranty who referred them early on ¹⁰⁄₂₂. Never hearing from then during the day I decided to call them, no answer. I waited till later in day (2:45) no answer but left message. On ¹⁰⁄₂₃ got a call on cell from a 909 area code from them but referring me to call them back to schedule an appointment. I got in touch with The Gas Co who sent someone out at 8pm and fixed the problem on ¹⁰⁄₂₂. I let them know that the issue was fixed and felt they needed to step up their customer service up. I also let Old Republic Home Protection know as well.
