Beware of this irresponsible, dishonest person name Chris and his unethical conduct. Most of the 5 star reviews Belong to Jerry and he is no longer running the business. Think twice before you allow Chris to work on your wheels. I would strongly recommend you pay a little more and take your business to a legitimate shop as oppose to having this guy who is running a mobile business down the toilet. Allow me to explain the experience I had with this guy name Chris.
I originally called and requested for Jerry to work on my wheels. Chris called me back and said that Jerry is no longer around. He convinced me that his job is just as good if not better, boy was I wrong believing him. Because of the good Unilocal reviews, I decided to give Kris a chance which I regret for life. He came and looked at the 3 wheels that have scuffs on my 1 year old SUV (Audi)and said that he can fix and restore them to it’s original look. It sounded pretty promising. Upon completion of his job, they looked alright and the scuffs were gone however the color of the paint he used was a bit different and was obvious. I asked if I can clean my wheels and he said to wait so I did. I ended up not being able to clean my car until a few days later because of my hectic work schedule. When I had time to clean my car, I noticed that there was a layer of rough surface on the inside of my wheels with brake dust trapped underneath it. The 3 wheels he worked on were all affected and I couldn’t get the dust to come out. Also, the paint he used began to fade and created a two tone contrast and became very obvious. I then called Chris to inform him of the situation and he said that my wheels already had break dust issues. I told him that I wash my car every 2 to 3 weeks and never had I noticed the break dust issue. Also, the wheel he didn’t work on has no problem at all. I asked him to come and check out the wheels, he became quite defensive at this point and said that he has never come across this problem in the past working on other cars. He was pretty adamant that it wasn’t his fault. After being on the phone with him for more than 30 minutes, he finally agreed to come to my house and looked at the wheels. He came and was apologetic about his negative behavior. I showed him the problem on the wheels and he somewhat acknowledged that it was a result of his work. He asked me to go purchase a clay bar and apply it to the affected area and let him know the result. He said that if it didn’t work then the would refund my money. I went and purchased a clay bar and applied it to the affected area hoping that it would solve the problem. Unfortunately, it did not work so I texted him. He said that he had to travel to Oregon to visit his grandma who was ill and will send me a check either before he leaves or when he comes back. At this time, I took my car to the Audi dealer to have their detail department check it out to see if there is anything they can do. They told me that the layer of paint or primer that was covering the dust was impossible to remove and any work to be done to it would just be a temporary fix. I then decided to purchase 3 new wheels that is over $ 3K. A couple weeks passed, I haven’t heard from Chris nor seen the check so I texted him, he replied and said that he just returned from Oregon and he would like to come over to try to fix the wheels as he found a special clay bar that can work. I told him that I already bought the new wheels and asked that he refund my money. He was upset and said that he would only refund half of the cost. Guess what, almost 2 months have passed and I still haven’t receive any funds from this dishonest person. I hope this review will help you make a decision to stay away from this person. Trust me or you will regret it.

Looking at reviews on Unilocal I decided to give Rim Rescue a call. I am glad that I did because they did excellent work. I spoke with Chris and was scheduled for 7:30 am, which was great considering that I start work 8 am. The best thing about service is that they come you and everything is done quickly.
I saved Chris contact information and will be using his services from now.

Jerry is the rim repair master. Shredded a rim against the curb on my Toyota Matrix and Jerry came out to my house and performed his mastercraft on my rim making it basically brand new.

I was devastated when I scraped one of the wheels on my new Volvo C30. Kris Neville (Curbside Wheel Repair) did a fantastic job of almost completely hiding the scrapes. His quote was reasonable and accurate (no surprises), he worked easily with me through a couple of schedule changes, completed the job quickly and professionally. Although I hope I never need to call him again, I won’t hesitate for a second if i need to.

I had some minor curb rash along the lips of two of my M-​Sport (193-​style) wheels and decided it was time to get them repaired. I called Rim Rescue on Saturday and spoke with Kris (who turned out to work for Curbside Wheel Repair). He gave me a quote and agreed to come down that Tuesday to my office to look at the damage and do the work.
Kris showed up a half hour early for the appointment and half an hour later called to say he had finished the job. I can no longer tell there was any curb rash on either wheel. The repair wasn’t exactly cheap, but is in line with other quotes I got. I hope I won’t be needing his services again, but next time I do something stupid I’ll be giving Kris a call.

Prior to finding rim rescue on Unilocal I called several other places and was greeted with bad customer service and high prices. Called rim rescue and talked to Jerry the owner who is very friendly and personable guy over the phone and in person, he arrived at my work and did an amazing job fixing curb rash on my Mercedes.
Jerry is absolutely awesome and I cannot recommend him enough!

Kris did a great job on two wheels I had curb-​scraped on my Audi A4. Kris was pleasant, courteous, professional, and arrived on time. The job was completed to my satisfaction and I would highly recommend.

First… I have never posted on Unilocal and never felt the need too but I wasn’t expecting the kind of service I received today.
I just bought a brand new car and had ran over a curb and did some pretty major damage to my wheel including curb rash and a large deep scratch. I called Rim Rescue and spoke to Chris and he asked me to send him pictures of my rims which I did. We made a appointment for him to come to my job the next day to repair it.
When he got there I was a bit dissapointed because he told me that the damage was more than he thought and he didn’t want to fix it because he couldn’t guarantee his work would be 100%. (I really appreciated his honesty — but again, I was dissapointed!)
He recommended me to another rim shop that wanted me to go through all sorts of hoops and hurdles and he even had me call my dealership to guarantee it wouldn’t be cheaper to go through them! It was amazing the legwork he did on my behalf!
So about 15 minutes later, after hearing how he wanted to make sure he wasn’t sure about doing it because he couldn’t guarantee his work. I said OK, It doesn’t have to be perfect. I just want it to look better than it does…
I go back to work and 45 minutes later I’m called to come down. I walk up to my car with serious apprehension about how my rims are going to look…
I LOOK AT THE RIM AND IT LOOKS IN BETTER CONDITION THAN MY OTHER 3 RIMS! I can’t believe the AMAZING job he did after all that worry about not getting it perfect??? Not only was there not a SCRATCH on the rim the rim was pretty much sparkling and saying «LOOK AT ME!»
I was seriously impressed and I told him I had to give him a review. So Chris thank you very much for your patience and the next curb I run into? I will definitley be calling you. You were amazing and the worse case scenerio that made me believe made the suprise of a praticially a brand new RIM even sweeter!

Great work on my 2011 Camaro’s rim. Recommended him to several people already. It takes about 45min-​hour per rim and depending on damage

Jerry, the owner, is the ultimate professional and will make sure you are happy with the results; I had an issue with a bad repair done by an employee that is no longer with the company, and Jerry made it right, more than I expected. Highly recommended.

Called Jerry at 9:30am today since I was working from home. He showed up at 2pm and fixed my curb rash rim within 30 minutes. Offers a lifetime warranty as long as you are the original owner. He saved me from buying a new RIM! I will always use him for any future wheel issues. Thanks Jerry!

I started off a beautiful Friday morning to the sound of ka-​pow! ka-​pow! as I was driving into the gas station. A few seconds later I realized what I had done and dropped a few f-​bombs. The two right side rims of my car had scuffs on them as if Jaws himself jumped out of the curb and chomped on my wheels. I was pissed and later somewhat depressed at what I had done to my beautiful car!!! Uggggh!!!
After getting over the initial ‘pissed-​offedness’ and doing a quick search on Google, I found Jerry’s business online, gave him a call and he came out the very SAME DAY and within an hour had both of my Jaws bitten wheels looking better than before and like new. Jerry is professional, courteous and without a doubt a master at his work. Thank you Jerry!!! You turned my frown upside down!
So if you’ve had a similar experience or just want to clean up your wheels, call Jerry. As for price, I thought it was a bit costly BUT considering Jerry comes to your place of work or home, was quick and even accommodated me the same day, I am a happy and satisfied customer.

I’m really particular about my rims and I’ve gone to Jerry several times to fix scuffs on my rims. They look great!
Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Would highly recommend Jerry for any curb rash on your rims.

Brand new wheels curbed by some f-​tards that work at the car wash down the street from my office.
Found Jerry through google… scheduled an appointment, he came through and made everything right as rain again.
Wheel came out perfectly matched! Dark Gun metal metallic! you can’t even tell that anything ever touched them.
I definitely have Jerry stored in my phone for any future issues!

Jerry was accommodating in scheduling an appointment on short notice and I was able to have my rims fixed in time to surrender my lease. I saved $ 300 in fees by having him repair my rims.
Jerry showed up on time, did quality work and was true to his quote.

Hey Gerry — i called you twice following the work you did on my car and you’ve ignored me hence this review
In the process of fixing my outer rim you coated the inside of my rim with a glue paste like residue that i cannot remove and has ruined the aesthetic of my 5 spoke rim. All I asked for was some insight on what it was and I was prepared to remedy it myself if necessary.
So buyer beware here for anyone considering using his service

Honestly… This guy is amazing. He is honest, sincere, and cares about his work. I was happy with the job, but he wasn’t and insisted on returning to do it even better. The cost was reasonable and he even through in some extra work for free because he felt the job took too long. My rims look like new (actually better) and I would definitely call him again!!! This guy gets more than 5 stars!!! he even came to the city without an issue!

Jerry is a great guy and he knows what he’s doing. He took two trips out to make the job perfect – not because I wanted him to, but because HE wanted to!

Found Jerry via google after multiple calls trying to get rims I messed up repaired. Found one guy on Unilocal,made an appointment and he called to say they were too busy and couldn’t come.
Jerry is mobile and came right to my office. Super easy to get hold off and really easy to work with on timing.
Results are A+, much better than before I ruined them, couldn’t be happier and the price was 20% better than anyone quoted, plus he comes to you.
Highly recommended.
FYI Does not repair chrome or cracks. Only curb rash and idiots, like me, that discover brake cleaner and clear coat are a bad match!
