History

Established in 1998.

Daniel B. Allen, M.D. is a board certified plastic surgeon who has been in private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1998. Prior to this, he completed his plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Oklahoma with concentrated training in aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.

Business Owner

Born in Ohio, he moved to California to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree at UCLA before returning to Ohio for medical school. He spent 5 years in general surgery residency and 2 years doing an academic fellowship focused on wound healing, surgical infection, and microvascular surgery at the University of California at San Francisco prior to his plastic surgery training.

In addition to his private practice, he is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Alameda County Medical Center. There he trains surgical residents and teaches medical students from UCSF, where he has a volunteer faculty appointment of Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery.
