I have been going to Dr. Tenny Lee for a few years now. I’ve just went to him this morning. Awesome Chiropractor and can make you feel better in no time. I’ve been out of alignment a couple of times and every time I make an appointment to see him I’m always relieved of my pain. Overall, great Dr and would recommend him when you need an adjustment.

This chiropractor is a miracle worker! My right arm and shoulder had been bothering me for two months. After just one adjustment, I am fine. I only have one follow up appointment, and I’m cured! I was diagnosed with cervical degenerative disc disease about 5 years ago, which caused me daily pain, and really bad spells of stiff neck. It got to the point where I really just needed to see someone about it.
Dr. Lee was recommended to me by a friend. After the first adjustment, I instantly felt a difference. Especially on the left side of my body. It only took 2 more visits after that, for my body to be fully aligned.

Miracle Man!!! Dr. Tenny Lee rocks!!! (No relationship, by the way) He eliminated my sciatica, knee pains, low back pain, neck pain and shoulder weaknesses ALMOST IMMEDIATELY! I’m a Judo boy n wannabe athlete so I get banged up a lot, and concussions, hyper-​extensions & pinched nerves are a major problem with my sport. I want results fast. Dr. Lee is the Black Belt of Chiropractic healers. A true master at his art of healing.
Dr. Lee is no ordinary Chiropractor. He practices a very special, elite technique call NUCCA. He moves the Atlas C1 floating vertebrae back into its perfect natural position. No snapping or cracking of the neck or spine! The Atlas «floats» between your skull and the rest of your spine. So if it is off position, your spine and muscles will compensate by trying to re-​balance the heavy weight of your head. Imagine trying to balance a basketball on your finger. If that finger is not balanced at the center of the ball, the basketball will likely fall. Now, imagine the 10 lbs weight of your head if it is NOT perfectly centered on your spine. An off-​centered head from a misaligned C1 will result in pain or decreased efficiency somewhere in the body.
FIRST, Dr. Tenny will check BALANCE and whether my legs are ½″ or so shorter than the other, or if my shoulders or hips are off-​balance using a variety of scales and calibration devices. He will will also check range of motion in my head. Using ruler and protractor, analyzes the x-​rays to reset the C1.
AFTER the adjustment, my typical problem of KNEE PAIN and sciatica (CAN BARELY WALK) will go away after a few hours. The adjustment lasts for MONTHS, even YEARS!
BEFORE DR. LEE, I’ve had an MRI done on my LEFT knee. I’ve seriously injured it from my wrestling and judo several times through the years, and suspected damage in them. But the MRI came back with NOTHING. A couple weeks later, the pain returned, but this time in my RIGHT knee. ??? That’s about when I wondered if the problem was related to my spine. I saw Chinese herbalists and standard Chiropractors who cracked my neck and spine. Temporary relief and they wanted me to come back day after day and week after week for many weeks, racking up the $$$$ ($ 30-​$ 50 a pop). Finally, I visited Dr. Tenny. After his X-​ray and analysis of my ATLAS, he determine the problem and how to reposition my ATLAS.
The ADJUSTMENT seemed like nothing. Seemed like hocus pocus. Seemed like Chi Gung. Honestly, seemed like quackery and that I was being had. Here is what he did. He just laid the blade of his palm across my neck, barely moved them, focused, breathed deeply in and out, and in less than a minute, perhaps only a few seconds, he was done.
RESULTS: My legs were now even. When I stood on the scales, the weight was evenly distributed. The shoulder and hip checks that read up to 3 degrees imbalance returned to perfect Zero. The range of motion in my head, look left and right, were increased. The arm and shoulder weakness in one particular arm disappeared.
EXTREMELY GENTLE! If you are afraid of Chiropractors who crack your neck bones, then you will be pleased. If you like having your neck and spine cracked, then you should avoid Dr. Tenny.
COST: I feel bad about this one. Compared to other chiropractic offices often packed with clients, who are addicted to having their neck popped for temporary relief, Dr. Lee’s TECHNIQUE is LONG LASTING and ONLY required ONE (1) TREATMENT. That was about $ 400 (for X-​rays, initial consultation, analysis, and adjustment). Follow up visits were never more than $ 90 a visit, only 1 – 2 times a year. DONE! Super convenient. Other doctors charge much more, and their treatments didn’t work on me, and I had to go back 2 – 4 times a week for months! They make big $$$. Dr. Lee won’t get rich from my business. This therapy is CHEAP compared to all the acupuncture, pain killers, shots, massage, herbalists, chiropractors I have tried thru the years. I see him 1x — 2x a year, and the return visits are CHEAP! Pray he will be blessed with many people needing REAL healing.

We get our heads cranked all kinds of different ways and DR. TENNY will put our heads back on STRAIGHT. He’s gone out his way to help me with my ARM and SHOULDER that have been tweaked due to arm bars and such.
Opposite Dr. Tenny Lee’s office is a Choy Lay Fut Gung Fu Studio. In the evening, Dr. Lee becomes Sifu Lee, Master Gung Fu instructor. I believe he’s learned body mechanics, muscle and bone issues quite well… He understands the athlete’s body and all the injuries we face. He’s helped me with ARM & SHOULDER issues (bone setting, correcting, massage) returning strength and function back to locked areas.

I first went to see Tenny after dealing with long term shoulder and arm pain. I’ve gone to other doctors and physical therapists but the usual recommendations of pain relievers and stretching didn’t work.
After my first consultation with Tenny, he discovered I had a structural misalignment of my spine that pinched the nerve to my arm. He treated me that same day and I felt immediate relief. I’ve had a few follow up appointments to check my alignment.
That was two years ago and I am pain free today. I am very grateful; before the treatment I was basically accustomed to other nagging pains like shoulder/​lower back tightness which lead to frequent use of pain relievers.
Tenny’s practice is small which allows him to really understand each patients needs. He is very patient and professional. He does not BS patients with false promises. I don’t hesitate recommending Tenny to anyone with chronic back pain. His method just makes sense. Its painless, quick and effective long term!

I was recently involved in an auto-​accident and didn’t want to find just any chiropractor who was interested in recommending a lawyer or performing unnecessary procedures. Dr Lee was very professional, no B.S., and told it as is. One of the many things I admire was his honesty and was not interested in trying to milk the insurance but a true genuine care and what’s best for his patients.
As a true believer in eastern medicine, one of the reasons why I chose Dr Lee was he also teaches Kung Fu (over 18 years) at his studio next door so you can say he knows a few things about healing and body. Although he normally does not open on Sunday, he was understanding of my work schedule and opened shop for a few hours just to see me.
When I walked in, my whole left side was numb and weak; my neck I couldn’t turn my normal range without twitching. After the first session, the pain in my neck is almost gone and I have pretty much full range. My left back and lower back still hurts (as Dr Lee explained, this was expected) but the pain I have has significantly decreased.

Dr. Lee is not your average Chiropractor, He practices the very specialized method of NUCCA. If you are not familiar with this method, I highly recommend a doing a «google search» and educating yourself before you visit Dr. Lee. But Im also sure that Dr. Lee will be more than happy to explain what he does too.
If you have never experience getting adjusted through the NUCCA method I highly recommend you give it a try. If you tried other Chiro’s and you are still in pain, I also recommend you give Dr. Lee a try.

Working 9+ hours/​day as a Graphic Designer for years, had taken a toll on my back, causing strange numb and tingly feelings underneath my left shoulder blade. This was in the Fall of 2007. A month after, I felt the numbness and tingly feelings all over the left side of my body (face, scalp, arm, leg), freaking me out since it seemed like stroke symptoms.
I initially went to a Western-​medecine doctor and he said everything was fine, but given NO explanation for my condition. Then went to a well-​known hospital in Contra-​Costa county (per a friend’s recommendation) to get a full-​body checkup and x-​rays, but was told I was healthy and given NO explanation for my condition.
By end of year 2007, I tried going to Chinese doctors, starting accupuncture therapy and drinking herbal medecine. I was told that my pulse was very strange– the left hand had a weak pulse while the right hand had a strong pulse.
In the beginning of 2008, someone was driving recklessly and hit the side of my car, causing both my car and my body damage. I went to a nearby chiropractor for convenience. He took xrays, cracked my neck and shoulders, and gave massage therapy. However, that didn’t help. PLUS my condition changed from a numbness and tingly feeling, to sharp constant pains.
I continued going to get my accupuncture therapy, but it didn’t help my condition. After 2 years (2008 — 2009), I was not healed, nor did I get relief from my symptoms.
I decided to go to a Chinese Bone doctor, to see if he could help, since he was well-​known and costly. Within 5 minutes of my describing my condition, he told me I needed to get an MRI ASAP, because the upper disc of my spine had shifted. I got my MRI and it indeed showed a very slight shift in 2 of the discs. This was affecting my nerves and was painfully wreaking havoc on my body.
By this time, I had lost all hope.
I went back to a western-​medecine doctor and he suggested back surgery!!!
Near the end of 2009, I was having lunch with a friend and she told me about a recent car accident she had, and the symptoms involved – numbness and tingly feeling. The symptoms seemed so similar to my own. She then told me she no longer had them and I asked her how it went away, and that was when she told me about Tenny Lee and his practice of the NUCCA method of Chiropractics.
I immediately scheduled and appointment to see him. I went in, showed him my MRI scans (from months back), and he took new x-​rays which focused on the areas affected. He explained to me that by aligning the top bone (Atlas) of the spinal cord, that everything else would fall into place.
He tested my shoulder, hips, and feet alignment, and found that I was indeed misaligned, causing my body to tile by a few degrees. He then had me lay down on my die, made some measurements, and then adjusted my atlas bone. The adjustment was simple and it didn’t seem like he did anything at all. But for the rest of the day, I started feeling strange things happening in my body and shoulder blade area.
Because I had this condition for well over 2 years, my body resisted the alignment and went back to being misaligned. Tenny showed me some exercised for strengthening my neck and back, which would help me retain my alignment.
Only 2 – 3 months after I started seeing Tenny, 2010, I was hit by another driver – this time worse – a lady who ran the red light. The impact was so great that my car was pushed 2 lanes over, to the sidewalk. Due to the impact, I immediately lost fine motor control in my left hand and experienced a LOT of pain in my back and neck areas. So I called Tenny right then and there, and scheduled to see him the next day. He was very good about taking me right away.
Because the car accident impacted my body so much, I took new x-​rays. They showed that my alignment was affected and that Tenny needed to adjust my atlas in a slightly different way, per the current position of my atlas.
It took me a while to retain my alignment, because of the amount of time (2 years) my condition was untreated, and the car accidents. Finally, after my 7^th or 8^th session, my body was keeping the alignment, and slowly healing itself from the massive amount of scar tissue built up near my left shoulder blade. Tenny helped this with soft-​tissue massage therapy.
By 2011, after retaining my alignment for about ½ a year, I got into another car accident – the wheel of my volvo all of the suddenly turns to the left and slams me into the center divider of the freeway!!! I had rib bruises and was once again misaligned. Went back to Tenny and he helped me get back into alignment.
I felt my body slowly, but surely healing, feeling much less pain on a daily basis,
and currrently still have monthly appointments to make sure all is well.
I appreciate his warm, friendly, and professional demeanor. I also appreciate him helping me understand what he was doing and how it was helping my body heal.

I’ve received spinal treatments from Dr. Tenny Lee for the past two years and highly recommend his practice for chiropractic care. I’m an avid runner and ocassionally I’ll tweak my lower back. He employs a technique where the entire adjustment is made around the upper cerivical region of your spine. No «forceful» adjustment on the lower back like I’ve received from other chiropractors. I also have an old shoulder injury that I sustained 20 years ago from bench pressing. After several adjustments from Dr. Lee the improvement in my left shoulder strength and comfort was noticeable almost immediately. He has a unique style of care where he combines his knowledge of Chinese martial arts with his chiropractic training in treating the body of its ailment.

My wife has had multiple accidents which really screwed up her neck. Shes gone to many other chiopractors from Chinese crack your back ones to western physical therapy and nothing helped. After pretty much given up hope on ever fixing her neck we were recommended to see Dr Tenny. My wife is still in disbelie that what Dr. Tenny does really helps. His focus on proper alignment really helped my wife head upwards her road to recovery. Thanks again Dr. Tenny for doing what you do.

I went to see Tenny because I had minor back and neck pains and was also experiencing some dizziness. He explained to me his style of chiropractic care and how it differs from the majority of other chiropractic offices we see here in the bay area. In short, he’s an upper cervical spine specialist and his adjustments are made to the upper most bones of the spine. These bones out of alignment can actually cause pains in other areas in the body like the legs, arms, and back. Unlike other places, he typically needs just one adjustment and you have follow up appointments to check if you were able to hold it. I have a science background and listening to Tenny explain to me how it works made a lot of sense so why aren’t there more of these types of specialists around? I guess in corporate America, it’s not one that makes the money because, for me, I only needed one adjustment and he never had to adjust me again. I did go back for a few follow-​up appointments but I was released within a month. I went to other places to ask how much it would cost and how much time it would take and I was told 2 – 3 months and thousands of dollars more. Not to mention how frequently I would have to go, I saw Tenny once every week or two weeks as opposed to 2 times a week which is what I was told at other places. Within a month Tenny was able to relieve me of my back and neck pains. I no longer woke up feeling sore, didn’t have problems sitting in front of a computer all day, and generally had more energy and strength.
I feel we are very fortunate to have a physician like Tenny around in the bay area. He is very attentive, patient, thorough, and has great bedside manner. Most importantly, he is very skilled in his profession. I had several questions for him and he was able to answer all of them giving me the comfort in knowing what was exactly going on with my body. The time that he gives to each patient is something that is not often seen in the healthcare industry anymore. I respect him as a physician and have already highly recommended him to my family and friends.

I’ve had mid back pain and limited range motion in my neck prior to seeing Dr. Tenny Lee. After one visit I regained full range motion and lost the pain. Rather than having to go in 3 – 4 times a week for a month like other chiropractors, I have had to only go in 3 – 4 times for the first month and once a month after that.
Dr. Lee practices an upper cervical technique called NUCCA, and with this technique I was able to hold my adjustments longer than if i was receiving full spine care. Thanks to Dr. Lee, I can now swim free style with free range of motion in my neck again; no longer do I have to feel like I’m struggling to turn my neck when I’m side breathing.
