Jack of All Macs

I don’t normally review businesses unless they are really really good or really really bad. Amazed at the excellent, prompt and affordable service!!! I assumed I’d be paying much more than. I did and waiting much longer to have viruses removed from two MacBooks. I also purchased a used iMac and they transferred my data onto it for me!!! I’m very satisfied and highly recommend them.

This place used to be good but now is terrible. Had to demand a receipt and my warrantee on the computer purchased. They did no set up, did not even put the expensive and fragile equipment in a box. When I made an appointment to get the hardware and go over everything the guy doesn’t even show up. No one had even marked the equipment as sold or on hold. Since I had to make a drive to get it I was ticked off. No parking either. Think this guy does this as his second job.

Took them my sluggish MacBook to have it checked out.
Diagnosis showed a bad hard drive and he a suggested RAM upgrade to run Yosemite OS.
Left it with them and they had it ready for me the very next day. Very helpful staff and reasonably priced. Highly recommend them!

My experience with computer repair guys is extensive and not usually positive. In my world view, admittedly tainted, they are arrogant and easily offended if you try to sound like you know anything. That’s why I’m taking the time to write a review on «Jack of All Macs».
From the first phone call to my final pickup, I was treated courteously and with genuine concern. There was time for me even though he was clearly busy. I thought my Video card was dying but his tests showed it wasn’t so he cleaned my macbook pro and got me back on track within two hours. During our dialogue he showed me a couple fo techniques that would save me time show I get concerned in the future.
This place is a gold mine! The other computer store in Castle Rock say they fix Mac and PC — They aren’t telling the truth. I will shop one store for my Mac, iPhone, ipad repairs and it is here. I’m really glad I found them.

I went in after getting several quotes from other shops. for a new screen on my IPhone 5S. most places needed my phone for the day. Or a few hours. And a over priced the cheaper the price the longer they need the phone… Went in Spoke with Ben the owner. And he hooked it up… No joke went an got a cup of coffee across the parking lot. And it was finished! Stocks all parts in store… It was painless and not Painfully in the pocket!!! $ 120 in less then 5 minutes of time. If your I castle rock… And need some work done on any of your Apple devices!!! This is your spot!!!

Today was my second visit to Jack Of All Macs. Several months ago I had dropped my wife’s iPad Mini and cracked the screen. Jack Of All Macs replaced the touch screen for about half of what the Apple Store wanted to charge. Their cost made me question if I even wanted to repair it! Jack Of All Macs, thank you, my wife loves her iPad when we are traveling. You got me out of the dog house.
About two weeks ago my iPhone battery started dropping off within 4 to 6 hours. I checked my Verizon account and still had several months before I can upgrade. Out of curiosity I called Jack Of All Macs to see how much a new battery would be. I was happily surprised. The Apple Store wanted $ 99 to replace the battery; Jack Of All Macs replaced it with an OEM battery for $ 27 while I waited.
The real lesson here is that even though their name is Jack Of All Macs, they will fix iPads and iPhones too! Visit Jack Of All Macs, they’re great!
