History
Established in 2009.
Recognizing a need for both businesses and community members to receive a little brush-up in common courtesy, Courtesy Bootcamp™ was born. «We have become so overly connected that we are DISconnected,» says Klinkerman, but when doing research on the costs behind the lack of courtesy, she found the lack of courtesy inside the workplace costs US business alone over $ 300 BILLION a year.
Klinkerman decided to do something about it in the form of a «boot camp». She noted mobile businesses everywhere, from dog grooming to fitness to dry-cleaning, and all of them claiming to take a mere hour. «Everyone wants everything in one hour and yesterday, so why not an etiquette boot camp?»
Klinkerman began teaching etiquette lessons to her former middle school students, and then presented her first session to The Rotary Club in February 2009.
Since then she has spoken throughout the state of Colorado, Wyoming, and has a client in Texas.
