Authentic Connections Counseling Center in Castle Rock offers a variety of services to meet your needs. We offer individual, group, couples and family therapy to all ages, from children to adults.

We excel at tailoring the therapeutic experience to each person’s individual need through authentic listening, compassion and empowerment. We believe that every person has strengths and choices, and we come alongside to empower you to identify, understand and embrace those characteristics/​strengths.

History

Established in 2015.

Each therapist at Authentic Connections has been trained in both psychology and theology with a Christian therapeutic foundation. This means our specialty is integrating psychology with the Christian journey. We have seen how one’s faith has been instrumental in the healing process. We are also aware that people may have experienced hurt and disappointment in their faith journey and have a lot of mixed emotions, questions and even doubts. We will respect wherever you are at and the exploration will be as you determine. We also encourage and accept anyone from any religious and spiritual background (or no background/​beliefs) to meet with us. We offer a safe and non-​judgmental place for you to explore and heal.

Business Owner

Dawn is the founder of Authentic Connections Counseling Center and is passionate about helping others to engage in their full potential. She comes from a belief that while life is not free from storms, there can be peace amidst the storm. In order to get to that peace, it takes courage to explore the deeper issues — which is why she loves to offer a safe place for people to be real and look at their concerns with grace and truth. Her specialties are in the areas of emotional education, coping skills, anxiety, depression, life transitions, women’s issues, spirituality and relationship issues. Dawn is passionate about journeying alongside each person so that they may experience restored hope and live in freedom and truth. Her clients have said they enjoy her compassion, humor, genuineness and active engagement in their healing process.
