Yes! Solar Solutions is an energy efficiency company specializing in solar electric and solar hot water solutions for homes and businesses. We are locally owned in Cary, NC but serve most of North Carolina and South Carolina. We hold an unlimited General Contractor license, and we are expert in the design and installation of solar systems, and guidance with incentives and rebates. Not only do we hold the most North American Board of Energy Practitioners individual certifications in North Carolina, our company is the only one in North or South Carolina accredited by NABCEP. We are a Green Plus Certified company that practices triple bottom line sustainability in our people, our performance and our planet.

History

Established in 2009.

Yes! Solar Solutions debuted in May 2009, but the family owned LLC, Cate Associates, Inc has been doing business in Cary, NC since 1994, first as the founders and builders and operators of private preschools (Primrose Schools of Cary) then as a general contractor renovating homes and commercial property with an emphasis on green renovation and historic properties. We turned to solar as a natural development of our commitment to the community, to future generations, and to the environment.

Business Owner

Stew Miller is President of Yes! Solar Solutions, a solar integrator he co-​founded with wife Kathy Miller. Stew had 20 years experience in business management, and sales with a large corporation, and another 15 owning and operating small businesses. Stew and Kathy share a commitment to building a community that is sustainable, from the private preschools they founded, to the investment in the community in which they live, to the promotion of renewable energy.
