Triangle Tech Computer Repair

It’s really hard finding a tech guy even under the best of circumstances, but when you move to a new state and have no contacts whatsoever then it’s even more daunting. After what I thought was a pretty exhaustive search I finally decided on http://triangletechwhi…
I called and spoke with Brad who gave me some suggestions for what I was interested in and then promised to call the next day so we could set up an in house meeting. I want my whole house wired up so it’s not something that can be done in-​store or over the phone. That was May 16^th. I waited for his phone call (shades of high school!) but alas, it never came. After a few more days I called again and left a message with an employee but yet again… no call back.
I don’t know… was it something I said?
Was it something he said?
What was it?
I am slowly learning how to move on and I just know in my heart that there is another tech guy out there just waiting for my call. It’s just not ever going to be Brad from Triangle Tech Whiz.

These people are hella awesome. My former room mate slammed my external hard drive onto the floor (which wasn’t entirely his fault, seeing as wires booby-​trapped the kitchen)… took it to two places in San Francisco, both of which said it was irreparable, but I could send if off to a data recovery place for anywhere between $ 300 and $ 2500.
I took the advice from a colleague at UNC Chapel Hill who recommended Triangle Tech, and despite being on the other side of the coast, they took on the task, kept the crazy hard drive on some machine for TWO WEEKS and recovered everything.
ACTUAL COST: $ 120.00
Granted, I did buy a Terabyte hard drive to facilitate the transfer; however, their service is unparalleled! Mike even called multiple times over the two weeks to give me progress updates.
Highly recommend them for any computer/​accessory needs.

Triangle Tech had EXCELLENT customer service both with their office staff on the phone and with the tech that arrived at our house. He worked extremely hard at getting our job done in as little time as possible.
We had a smart box with a jumble of wires that we couldn’t identify. The tech helped us get all of the wires identified, internet service to various areas of our house and answered all questions intelligently but in a way that I, a non-​techy, could understand. A job well done!
Oh…and it was reasonably priced too!
