History

Established in 2004.

Dr. Reid Hunter Brogden became an orthodontic partner in the group of Drs. Gurley, Hall, Ritter & Brogden in 2004 after Dr. David Hall personally selected Dr. Brogden to take over for his family of patients upon retirement. Over the past decade, Dr. Brogden has established a thriving practice based on the philosophy of treating families and patients exactly as he would want to be treated himself; with excellence in treatment, integrity and honesty. While our orthodontic partners don’t share patients, we do see each other’s emergencies. Dr. Brogden will be taking over for the family of patients of Dr. Gurley as part of his phased retirement.

Before becoming an orthodontist, Dr. Reid Brogden attained his B.A. in Psychology, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from North Carolina State University (1992). He then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (1998). After proudly serving for 3 years of active duty in the U.S. Navy as a General Dentist, he returned to Chapel Hill for his Masters of Science in Orthodontics (2004).

Dr. Brogden loves his work, and always wants to provide the most advanced treatments for his patients. It is extremely important to Dr. Brogden for his patients to feel very comfortable with their treatment progression. He believes our patients should smile all the way through orthodontic treatment, not just at the end!
