Simply fantastic. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to an honest to goodness butcher. This guy made an Italian stuffed beef roast that floored me. He gave us perfect cooking instructions, too! Definitely going back for the Italian sausage.

Went here today for the first time and will definitely be back. Meat selection was great and they had a large selection of prepared accompaniments. Everyone was so nice and owner even helped with our wine selection. We had such a good experience today that we made reservations for Valentine’s Day dinner here.

If there is something that you are looking for in the line of a hard to find cheese or meat product, it is likely that Orchard Prime Meats has it available. Counter persons are friendly and helpful– it is a classic market/deli experience from the 1960’s in the best way possible. Give them a try and it is probable that you will make them your go-to for your needs.

I love going to this butcher shop. I LOVE the prime rib burgers. They are a staple on the grill in my house. It’s not just a butcher shop with fresh meat. Craft beers, a huge frozen section, wines galore, and marinated vegetables are just a few items that are offered. It’s just a quality place. Once you go here it’s hard to go back to supermarket meat. It’s the same price as the store. It might be a dollar here or a dollar there, but I assure you it’s worth it. The employees here a knowlegeable and can tell you how to cook it and how to prepare it. When I buy fish here they will cut off the skin if I need it to be. In fact I’m heading up there today when it opens to ask them if they have any hambones for a split pea soup I’m making. As for the tapas… it’s amazing. A must try!

Top Notch Butcher Shop!!! The owner is very nice and you can tell he loves his craft! The meat here is always fresh and he is more than willing share cooking techniques and recipes. There is a decent selection of fresh meats but you can order whatever you want in advance. Did I mention his homemade sausage? The prices are a little higher than the local mega mart but quality is superb! I haven’t tried the Tapas yet but i have no doubt I will be pleased.

Haven’t tried the tapas here yet, but the butcher shop is superb. Very helpful and friendly staff. I admit, I’ve been less than successful at grilling great steaks. The butcher gave me excellent tips. He steered me to two huge t-bones that tallied up to $ 31, which left me wondering if I had been suckered. But they turned out to be the most amazing steaks I’ve had — EVER! We ended up getting four meals out of them, and they were better than any restaurant steaks. I never knew what it meant to age beef, but I learned that day.

Live nearby and regularly get my summer grilling meat here. Huge chicken breasts which are great for cubing and making kabobs. Also love to get the cheap tenderloin tip and marinate in Dale’s sauce for 15 minutes for an excellent quick steak. They have some beer and a selection of vegetables if you need to add something to your menu in a pinch.

Hidden treasure in the NW suburbs. The ever changing menue includes a wide variety of changing hot and warm tapas. It’s also brilliant that you can pick really good wines from the wine store in the back of the restaurant. We are very spoiled but drive to this place regularly.
