Excellent! Scott and Becky go above and beyond. They made a beautiful bouquet to accompany a surprise gift for my wife. They helped me plan the surprise and stayed open late to help present it. They’re great people and I’m very happy they’re part of our community.

It was happenstance that I stopped here as I waited for the line at the nearby pharmacy to die down. During GCG’s normal hours of business, I’m usually in another part of town.
I’ve been missing out.
The shop is in a nicely maintained brick building, more like an office building, but the shop’s entrance is colorfully and brightly decorated with seasonal flowers and plants. It’s a nice introduction.
There are very few pre-​made flower arrangements in the cooler or anywhere inside. I wasn’t quite sure what to make of that, but my hesitation lasted about a nano-​second or two. Because I wanted to buy some flowers for the upcoming holiday, I asked the owner if she could make an arrangement for me on the spot. After she asked a few questions about where I was going to place it, my price point, the colors and types of flowers, she quickly started to pull things together right then, all the while maintaining our conversation. In no time at all she had it ready to go. The arrangement is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. It was so much nicer than a pre-​made one.
Flower arranging is an art in itself, I think. Understanding the placement of each flower and accent, stem length, and flow of colors is a creative process that some florists do well and others, not so much. For me, GCG is in the former category.
