I love Crema Coffee & Bakery. Crema Coffee & Bakery has superb coffee and pastries. The service is good and it is a nice coffee shop. Pretty much everything is good here at Crema Coffee & Bakery. Especially the red bean buns! PASTRIES I had the raspberry turn over(I think that’s what that’s called) once, and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was just the right texture and the raspberry inside was the right sweetness. Perfect afternoon treat. The turnovers are really good. BUNS Crema Coffee & Bakery makes great buns. My favorite type of bun is the red bean bun. The red bean buns are amazing. They have a donut shaped bun with filling in the ring of the bun. I love the whole red bean bun, and everything is made to perfection. I also like the blueberry cream cheese buns and the custard buns. They are more of a mellower flavor, but nevertheless good. The blueberry cream cheese bun is rich and creamy(because of the cream cheese) and in the bun is a sprinkle of blueberries. Instead of the donut shape, it swirls like a cinnamon roll. The custard bun is what it’s name implies; it is a bun filled with custard. It also has the donut shape. COFFEE Fresh roasted coffee is made in Crema Coffee & Bakery. Nice dark flavors that do not disappoint. You experience a range of nice flavors with Crema’s coffee. More of a quality, tastier roast than a regular coffee shop. I give them a round of applause to Crema Coffee & Bakery for the coffee they serve. BUBBLETEA Crema Coffee & Bakery is known to have an Asian influence. Yes, they have authentic bubble tea here. I tried it and it tastes like the real deal, with tapioca pearls and all. I appreciate Crema Coffee & Bakery’s bubble tea since I rarely find it here in NC. I got the mango bubble tea. Although they didn’t have fresh ingredients(powdered mango), they still blend it for you. Yep, even their bubble tea is great. SERVICE The people behind the counter are all nice. They are polite, patiently wait for you to find your items, and they help you smoothly order. Crema Coffee & Bakery even has clean restrooms. If their clean, they pass my inspection. As well as the restrooms, the whole place is clean. They do a good job of cleaning up, too! All in all, Crema Coffee & Bakery is an amazing little coffee shop you have to check out. Thumbs up to Crema Coffee & Bakery!

Best iced coffee option around! They have a very fancy Dutch cold brew technique that produces the smoothest, tastiest cold coffee. It’s not cheap, a small is almost $ 4, but it’s packed with caffeine and totally delicious. Worth it for the coffee connoisseur! Also, don’t miss their fresh baked pastries! They are soft and fluffy with perfectly portioned filling. This place is a hidden gem!

The customer service here was very disengaged and I felt so unwelcome as a customer that I will not come back. I came in on a hot Saturday afternoon and wanted a cold coffee drink. There was a lady near the counter picking out packaged desserts with an empty basket and the two cashiers/baristas were standing there and not making eye contact. I stood there awkwardly for a while and eventually they asked me is I was ready to order. I was ready to order from the moment I arrived and placed my iced coffee order. You pay with square and sign on a cell phone. The barista was then even more confusing because she started a hot latte order for a vip customer named Jim and got me all confused because I ordered an iced latte. All in all, I will not go out if my way again to come here. The iced coffee was fine but my entire experience was overshadowed by the lackluster engagement.

We are in town for five days and went three times already! I also come here every time I visit Cary. Love their drinks from bubble tea to latte and the pastries are pretty good too! I don’t think you can find a better coffee place in Cary. Four stars because we are from Dallas and of course we are spoiled with many excellent coffee shops and restaurants there and made our expectations pretty high: p

The owners and staff make tou feel like aVIP. they say hello to me by name. The coffe and specialty drinks are delish. The breads, pasties and cakes are one of a kind. They make their food daily fresh in the store not mass produced. Love love love this place

Cozy boutique café with a wide variety of pastries and Asian buns. I usually drown my coffee in milk but this coffee was so good I drank it black. All of the pastries looked amazing, but I can only personally vouch for the cherry cream cheese turnover. I grabbed an adorable mocha cream cheese turtle on my way out … and scarfed it down later that same day. I’d like to take a moment to address the ridiculous review by Lindsey C., who starts by saying they have amazing coffee BUT: «Downside– they got bought a year or two by a Korean dude and they started carrying all these bizarre asian bakery items that I have no desire to try. Bean bun? No thank you!» WOW. Besides the not-so-vaguely racist undertones — what kind of sheltered world do you live in where the very presence of something different is offensive to you? I’m thrilled this place offers a wide assortment of Asian baked goods and hope it continues to thrive.

Lovely, comfortable, sophisticated atmosphere. Locally owned & operated. Beans are toasted on site — a huge benefit in my opinion. Good selection of pastries & yummies. My new favorite coffee shop in Cary.

Love their coffees and desserts! Love love the sweet potato cake! It doesn’t have variety of pre-packaged baking goods even though I went on Saturday which should be busiest! But when ever I’m in Cary I end up stopping by to grab a coffee!

I came here three times. It’s not the closest one for me. But I still like to come here because the staff here are very friendly and atmosphere is really good! It’s always very quiet and spacious here. Not like many cafes where their tables are sooo tiny, you could in fact have enough space to put your book and laptop on a table here. They also keep a good distance between tables. Their pastries(especially the red bean bun) are very delicious. The coffee is OK, not the best, but not bad.

Great atmosphere, nice coffee and pastries. Ordered an ice cappuccino and the barista was nice enough to put a 3D latte art on it. I would come here again if I were to fly back here.

I ordered a Taro Boba drink here and I was slightly skeptical when the barista handed me the drink in this small cup and charged me about $ 5.50 for it . But the guy totally nailed it, though it was a slushy drink it was one of the creamiest boba drink I have ever had and the tapioca was perfectly cooked. Sweetness was right and everything about it screemed ‘perfection’ to me. Trust me this drink was tastier than what most of the asian boba drink places make. I am so coming back here.

I was on my way for an appointment in the same complex and wanted to give this business a try. Spacious and very welcoming. I tried their hot mint mocha. Didn’t taste anything like mint at all but the coffee flavor was there. It was ok even though it lacked the mint taste. Will probably try something else next time.

I was looking for a new coffee shop and bakery to check out and I remember seeing the place on google maps a while ago. Location wise, it’s kind of hidden since you have to turn off of High House road I do have to complement them on their restrooms. The men’s restroom is modern and also very clean. It’s probably one of the nicest restrooms I’m seen in a while. What’s interesting about this place is that they have a display area for Asian baked goods. Kind of reminded me of the ones that I get at Grand Asia Market. I ordered a cherry turnover and it was very good. The turnover was delightfully flaky and the flavors were on point. My only complaint was the cashier who took my order. He just wasn’t very enthusiastic or pleasant.

Best coffee in Cary. They roast their own beans and they always make a beautiful heart design in the top of my latte. Not overly fancy but very cozy atmosphere. Have known Kevin and Regina forever. Downside– they got bought a year or two by a Korean dude and they started carrying all these bizarre asian bakery items that I have no desire to try. Bean bun? No thank you! And the non-asian bakery items are lack luster– old bagels of unknown origin, and other muffin-y type things. But the coffee is AWESOME. Tables are small and there can be a lot of glare from the plate glass windows– get some sheer curtains folks! or some blinds for the blinding times of day(morning, they must face East).

First time visitor and I was greeted like an alien from another planet, even though I smiled and said hello to the guy. He just stared at me. Did I have egg on my face or something? I made some complimentary comments about the various coffee concoctions offered and still, very little pulse. I felt less than welcome. Well, whatever. I ordered a simple café au lait, which came up pretty quickly. The coffee was smooth as silk, so points for that, but the less than cordial and barely breathing barista left me not wanting to return. Too bad, it otherwise seemed like a nice place and the pastries looked wonderful and not too pricey. My suggestion is to lighten up and be welcoming to your customers. After all, they do keep the lights on and the doors open.

Came here to knit and catch up with a friend in the area — not the most spacious place, but it wasn’t crowded while we were there. I like that they have almond milk as an option, which is not something you find everywhere, and I like it better with my coffee rather than soy and coconut milks. The pastries are a little pricey(a medium almond milk latte + pastry ended up being $ 9.something — I am a little too used to Chinatown bakeries), but they’re tasty, and the coffee is fresh. They accidentally gave me a small when I ordered a medium, and were really nice about remaking my drink when I inquired about it. It’s a neat and cozy place, and I would probably be a regular(to my wallet’s dismay) if I lived in the area.

Crema is a boutique coffee café, lead by bearded bean-boss Kevin, pastry goddess Deanna, and I-have-more-going-for-me-than-yoked-arms Eric. It is pretty much everything I could ask for in a neighborhood coffee place. The best thing about Crema is their single-source coffee — which is imported in whole sacks and roasted by Kevin on site. In my opinion, the key style to Kevin is a tendency to favor medium-to-light roasts with interesting single-source beans. Most people are not used to this style of coffee. If you’re like me, you’ve grown up on darker roasts(French, Italian, espresso), which tends to bring out the smoky, chocolately, oily, woody, caramel flavors in a bean. Many people cut this heavy essence with milk, which sweetens and stretches the flavor. It tastes like COFFEE in a big bassoon base-note that is great on its own; but it’s not what Kevin does. Do yourself a huge favor and get pick up a small cup and then taste the 3 – 4 single-source coffees *BLACK*. They are the ones in pump containers. Fear not. These are not scary bitter. You might be delighted with Kevin’s beans. These are bright, citrusy, berry, spicy beans. Hold the coffee in your mouth and notice as the flavor changes over the next few seconds. Take a sip. Notice one second later when it tastes like citrus? Swallow. The citrus will fade and you’ll taste something else. Wait a few more seconds; notice the«finish» — how the coffee tastes in your mouth long after you’ve swallowed? Taste how much more sophisticated these coffees are than what you’ll find at the grocery store or [insert major chain store here]. An added bonus to the on-site roasting is that the place smells heavenly and has a cool industrial DIY vibe to it. Those sacks off to the side are not just for show. There are plenty of tables to set up an impromptu meeting, a few outside for those who want fresh air, and plenty of parking. Kevin’s espresso bean is a medium-dark roasted blend of five different beans. Again, very good and seems quite popular with those who must have a hot steamed cup of milk with espresso in it. Furthermore, their decaf is outstanding. Deanna’s pastries are wonderful. There are some Western pastries, but many are Asian pastries. «Huh? What’s an Asian pastry?», you say? An Asian pastry tends to be a Western pastry, which is then modified for Asian palates. Some are super-Asian like red adzuki bean filled or green pea filled pastries. Some are refinements, like the Mexican coffee bun — which is then made whiter, lighter, and fluffier and then called different names depending on the country. And they tend to be cute, handheld, and perfectly shaped. Perhaps the best thing of all is that coffee starts at less than $ 2. That makes it a no-brainer to leave those chain coffee places behind and set up shop here. Come say«hi» to me if you see me here.

I love this hidden gem in cary. I’m kinda sorta obsessed with asian bakeries: i love the light buttery buns, the red bean fillings, the taro bread, etc etc. and what else do i love about asian bakeries? oh yeah the BUBBLETEA. which this place does right. I always get the taro smoothie but once I got the nutty irishman latte(or something along those lines) and it was delicious. The bubble tea is more expensive than the ones you get at vietnamese restaurants, but this is defintely better tasting. Oh yeah, and the pastries are all so good. Get any of ‘em. You’ll be pleased.

Upgrading my review from 3 to 4 stars. And this because of their pastries(namely the red bean bun) and their coffee. Coffee art that the barista painstakingly do are so much pleasing to the eye: I am starting to like a whole lot more. Hoping to try different coffee and pastries next time. Their breads are so soft that u could have a root canal done and then have their bread. The bread just melts. Waiting to try more of their other flavors of coffee.

A friend of mine used to bring me Korean bread from this place and I always loved them so I decided it was finally time to give this place a go. Having lived in the dmv, I’ve had my fair share of Korean pastries so I was a bit worried that I’d be let down here. Nope, not one bit! In fact, I actually like their bubble tea over a lot of the bubble teas I’ve had in the dmv area! The taro bubble tea was super creamy and not even the slightest bit icy(which was my main concern). My only criticism was that some of the tapioca bubbles were really chewy while others were slightly tough. I’ve loved all of the various bread I’ve tried here. They know how to mimic all the typical Korean pastries(I.e. Soboro, red bean bun, etc.) flawlessly. The mocha bun I tried this time around was perfectly sweet with a soft interior~ My only wish is that they’d have more bread available– when I went, a lot of the baskets were empty and there wasn’t much of a selection… Oh well, at least what they had was really tasty! This is the perfect place to get some work done or have some therapeutic«you» time. Music was soothing, owners were friendly, atmosphere was calming and tables were clean~
