One of my friends wanted to get her eyebrows done and was able to walk right in. No wait time at all and her eyebrows looked amazing. Prices was around $ 7.00 and before I could look up she was done. WOW! That is service.

These beautiful ladies know their stuff when it comes to the art of eyebrow threading! Yes it is an ART! There is nothing worse than someone having bad brows! This location offers facials, skin care, and hair services. I have been a fan of their threading services for atleast 4 years now. I have also recommended them to a few of my friends. They are very fast! I am usually in and out within 10 minutes, and this is at either location I visisted. The Cary and Raleigh location are my 2 favorites!!!
They are not heavy handed, but gentle and pleasant! As stated in my review of the Raleigh location the price is great and the service is wonderful!

Service is super quick and flawless. You go in with a hot mess and come out feelin yourself, it’s great. Eyebrow threading is cheap too so it’s great if you running on a budget

$ 10 for a lip and eyebrow threading by an experienced Indian lady. Yes please! They offer high quality at a great price and are very quick. However, be prepared to wait like 15 minutes sometimes as a walk in (imo warranted) and note that there is a $ 1 credit card fee as they prefer cash. Hair service is by appointment only.

First of all I want to say I love this place and their facial. But person who does it keeps changing. I went to Morrisville area, I felt the new person who does facial is racist. She keeps talking about skin color and stuff. I also felt she is rude to the costumers and lack of gentleness in her talk

Melinda B. @ Chandni’s does excellent waxing. She is gentle and engaging in the process; and educates me on proper care. Melinda is flexible with her appointment scheduling. Melinda keeps her schedule on time and I have never had to ‘wait’ for my scheduled appointment. Melinda is professional, courteous, and is great to work with; she is the only one I trust to do my waxing.

Love that you can walk in. Language barrier for sure. Had to explain myself a few times of what I wanted. I usually let them do what’s best but changed it up today. Good prices.

I’m still fairly new to the area, but this is my go to place for eyebrow threading and Gonga is my absolute favorite! I’m very particular about my eyebrows and maintaining a natural shape is extremely important. Gonga does an excellent job listening and she is always consistent with her work product.
In addition, Melinda is perfect for Brazilian waxing! She’s very precise, consistent, and super friendly — she knows how to make what most consider an awkward situation an absolute great time.
Hands down I recommend this place!

So before Christmas I needed my eyebrows done… like right then and there! We were having Christmas earlier in the week and family was 20 min away and I had just finished cleaning up and needed an eyebrow job ASAP. So I took a quick trip. And let me tell you, this was QUICK. I walked in, got my eyebrows done, walked back out and it took maybe a total of 7 minutes. And they were busy! My eyebrows look awesome too! I personally think threading is more painful than waxing but there is just so much more precision with waxing and my eyebrows aren’t swollen and puffy after a threading. I’ll be coming here again soon for a touch up!

This is the BEST place to go for threading. I’ve tried other places but these ladies are second to none. They manage to even do my delicate lower brow painlessly. Quick service, quality people and great value!

I have been going here over a year now and all my visits have bee satisfactory. I have gone for different services and I would give 5 star for all of them. Be it haircut from Melinda (She is my most favorite hair stylist ever), wax, facials and threading. Everyone is friendly and an expert in what they do. I have a sensitive skin so the yard always gentle and patient with me and at lot of places I can see a slight irritation in the person working on me but not here. I can’t go anywhere. I wish they come up with more discounts or major price cut down specials ;)

This was my first time at Chandis — I usually go to another lady in Cary but shes been booked out a few weeks so I was not able to get in before the holiday weekend and refused to be a furball this weekend. After Unilocal-​shopping I landed on Chandis. The reviews were great, the location was great, and best of all the price was great. The reviews also said it was quick service and they stayed open til 8 which was pretty good bc my normal lady closes at 530. Sooo anyway I mosey my hair faced self on down to Chandis for a full face wax which I normally get every 3 to 4 weeks. I couldnt wait to feel that hot wax ripping the hair out of my face, yet I was a bit nervous still bc it was a new place. What if they eff up?!
So I went at about 7pm and there were about 8 ladies in the waiting area. I signed in on the ipad and took the last open seat. Right in front of the operating room. I watched as lady after lady went in, got threaded and hopped out. Doesnt look like too much pain but its a slow process, I thought, just give me the wax. As I sat waiting I glanced at the services menu on the wall and could not find a price for full face waxing anywhere. Well online it said $ 25 so we’ll go with that. Except to my surprise, when it was my turn, I was informed that they do not do full face waxing. Bummer. (May need to change the website menu!) We do full face threading, she told me. Ok screw it, I came, I waited, I will leave hairless. This is where disappointment starts.
Again I say this is my first time with threading but I have waxed and tweezed on a very regular basis so it shouldnt hurt right? WRONG! First she told me to stretch my skin. Ooh. kaay? So I do and shes threading and im hearing hairs pop off and flying like they were aiming to kill so its obviously working but its hurting like hell! She started to go up into my hair line which is when I started to duck and dodge her. She went over my eyebrows cheeks sideburns lips and chin and every last one hurt. When she was finished I felt a sense of relief that it wasnover but sad with the results. Because I had been there a fair amount of time already and how much it hurt I was just ready to go so I paid and left. Upon returning home to further inspect, my disappointment grew. My eyebrows were horrible. My natural eyebrows are shaped perfect for how I like them, they just need to cleaned when they bush out. She got under the arch and plucked a few out to make an opening but that was it. No real cleaning around them at all. Which is weird bc she was on them for so long. I had one skinny eyebrow and one thick eyebrow. Needless to say I ended up tweezing them clean into shape. My lips were pretty clean so I have no complaints there. My chin however. man oh man. now I know I have alot of course thick-​strand hair on my chin but quantity should not mean lack of quality. Its not like they couldn’t see the hairs! Again, something I had to go over when I got home.
Overall I felt like bc I needed them and they were there that it was worth paying– and because it was almost half what I usually pay. But thw quality of service I received will not have me raving or going back, unfortunately.
If you are looking to get a full face wax, go elsewhere because they aren’t servin em up here! However the place was clean and the ladies were pretty friendly.

Gonga is my favorite person in the world… never before have my eyebrows looked so amazing! Pain free threading & friendly service… No matter what I ask for, Gonga listens! I looove Chandis & highly recommend.

I wish you could give salons different reviews for their different services. I’m a little torn what rating to leave… but I guess I’ll base it on whether I’d go back to Chandni’s.
I’d give this place 5 stars for for their eyebrow and upper lip threading service. It’s great, cheap, and they get you in-​and-​out — which is what I like. The woman did a great job shaping my outgrown brows.
However — I got an underarm wax here and was extremely disappointed. I’ve gotten my underarms waxed for the past several years and have never had an issue. At Chandni’s, they said they were using a wax that was for sensitive skin — I wonder if that meant it just wasn’t as strong. While my underarm hair is probably on the thicker side of normal, I’ve never once been to a waxing service where they examined their service and said, «unfortunately, we couldn’t pull out some of the hair» — WHAT? And it wasn’t the fine baby underarm hair either. They basically left my underarms looking like a week’s growth still remained. So — waxing = 0 stars for basically not doing the job. I looked a little while I was laying down, but I only saw how bad it was when I got home. I should have refused to pay for the service because it was essentially like I didn’t receive a waxing there.
So, I’d definitely go back for their threading service, but I won’t try their waxing ever.

Like this place a LOT! It was super easy to make an appointment and get in the same day. When I arrived they were very friendly and she took me back immediately. You lay in a chair as she gets ready and then help her out a bit to get the skin pulled the perfect amount.
I always break out after waxes and shared that with her and she made sure to give me the right products after she was done to help with the redness (my skin is sensitive, so it gets RED), and to prevent break outs. The threading was not nearly as annoying as other places I have been and much less painful than waxing.
I feel it also gets a more perfect shape for the brows when you thread. They can then go back and get single hairs with tweezers to be sure the look is complete. Oh, and they even trim the overall length with shears. Before you know it, you’re done — in and out in 5 minutes and for cheap!

This review is only for waxing and threading services.

I usually get my threading done by Seema and waxing by Melinda.
I really like most of the staff at this place (and this is their only location where I don’t see a new face every time I walk in and I can rely on consistent service). They’re warm and welcoming. Most of them are not too chatty and do not chew my ears off with their personal life sob-​stories — so that’s a plus.
There is a surcharge of $ 1 to pay with credit card for transactions under $ 15.
The only reason I would not give it 5-​star rating is because the communication skills of their employees who answer phone calls are almost terrible. It is very difficult for me to make an appointment, modify an existing appointment or cancel a specific part of my appointment. I really wish they would improve on that.
Also, their new «iPad sign-​in method» does not have any way to let the staff know that you’re there for an appointment and not a walk-​in.

I’ve been to Chandi’s twice now and absolutely love them! Ever since I found out about threading, I haven’t been able to go back to waxing! There’s less irritation, it’s fast, and has pretty darn nice results. I’ve only gone in for threading, so I can’t speak for their other services though.
It’s $ 7 for eyebrows and $ 3 for your upper lip which is an amazing price (trust me on this…). If you don’t know what threading is, it’s basically using cotton thread that’s twisted up to essentially pluck hair out. So it feels the same as plucking your eyebrows, but much faster. The people at Chandi’s are good too, I haven’t had to wait for my eyebrows to grow out of a mistake yet. (*fingers crossed*)
Everyone is very friendly and you’re in and out in less than 10 minutes! Give it a shot and you’ll never wax your eyebrows again.

I can’t believe I have never written a review about this place!
I go here pretty often for the upper lip threading. They are very professional, fast and affordable. $ 3 for my upper lip to be sparkly clean and moustache less!!! YES PLEASE.
They are also very nice. I pretty much cry everytime I get it done and they do try to hurry up to make the experience less traumatizing.
I’ve also been here for waxings and it’s pretty good. It’s cheaper than any of the other places but the ambiance isn’t like a real spa. They get it done and you are out. They only use soft wax btw.

And it wasn’t just curiosity killing the cat (terpillar) brows; it was also the fact that my CLT colleague has perfectly shaped arches, and revealed her secret to me: Threading.
Today, I found myself seated at Chandni’s for my very first threading. I’d watched a DIY video, so I had an idea of how the actual threading would commence. But beyond that, wasn’t sure what to expect. For first-​timers, here’s a quick tip: you will be touching your face, and pulling your skin taut for the technician, so make sure your hands are clean before visiting, and that you haven’t been chewing on your cuticles (like I embarrassingly have).
The whole process took about 5 minutes, with several passes over each brow, and even the finer surrounding hairs, plus some trimming with the scissors. To me, it seemed more painful than waxing, although Sula did mention my skin was ‘very sensitive’, so maybe it doesn’t feel as tender to other folks. I do like that it’s not wasteful. And I have to say my brows do look pretty precise. $ 7 is also less than half of what I pay for waxing! I might be sold. Chandni’s has gotten so popular, they’ve opened locations in Raleigh and Morrisville… I hope Durham is next!
