Rain and bugs. It’s end of July early August and the place is full of bugs and rain, so bring DEET, rain gear, or don’t come. Nice course, no outside food, but they ran out of food. … like turkey sandwich so you only had ham as an option. One day their picker failed to show, so no range balls. Their proshop was so poorly supplied, they had no kids rain gear, no umbrellas, no towels, nada… and it was a kids world championship. The manager here is clearly not thinking about the volume of people. Yet, this event is annual. Why does uskids opt for this place no one knows? Carts cost $ 36. Practice range is free because there are no balls.

I’m not one to distinctly remember every hole of a golf course, but this course was very well maintained with a nice clubhouse. Was here for a professional industry event and played in a scramble. Course was challenging, but not overbearing. Looking forward to returning next year.

Played this course ten years ago when it was just developed from a horse farm, and the Pro Shop was in the barn — and it was good then. Now, things have changed. Beautiful clubhouse, on site lodging possibilities and excellent maintenance have made this a wonderful place to play. Very professional staff, a welcoming atmosphere and scenic course. Prices are a little on the high side, but quite a bit lower than nearby Pinehurst. Lots to enjoy here!
