Moved here recently. We were looking for somewhere with good food to grab a beer — this place is awesome. A hidden gem! We both had burgers that were great. Friendly bartender, all home grown stuff — Will definitely be back!

didnt care for the menu as looks like they try to hard, carthage, NY Pub isn’t exactly the place I would go to looking for a pretentious gourmet burger didn’t care for the Mexican flavors in most of their burgers but their regular burger was quite good, good enough to come here and post about it, they do need to work on their fries, limp and soggy and their beer selection is lousy, no lagers on tap that I saw,

I absolutely love this place, come for the amazing food, stay for the friendly service and hometown pub atmosphere, even the music they select is spot on. I’ve been twice and was hoping to go in for another amazing burger or special today, but they are closed on Sundays. They have a few localish beers on tap and a few more standards. The chef(chefs?) take every dish coming from the kitchen very seriously. My first visit I had the bistro burger which comes with an egg and bacon, as I took my first bite the yoke broke and covered the rest of the burger, ran down on to the fries on the plate, absolutely divine! The second time I went was prime rib night, I’ll see about posting the picture I took. I ordered the queen size portion and it was the size of a football. The onions and au jus went great with both the meat and potatoes. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

The best place in the area all around. Great Burgers fries and Beers on tap. Lots of other good options on the menu and specials updated on the website are always worth a look. Friendly fast service and very reasonable prices. Definitely worth a trip.

By far the best bar/restaurant in the Carthage Area. They offer a fantastic dinner menu of really good hamburgers and a few other dishes. The best deal is the«flight» if beers for around $ 9. Sit at the bar and enjoy a sample of 5 of the fantastic craft brews they usually have on tap.

Although I’ve only been there once for the regular food menu, what blew me away was their new Supper Club held this past weekend. I’ve been told by a regular faithful customer that Jose was a chef in a big city who moved to Carthage for a simpler life. The move also simplified his culinary skills as well except on the rare occasion of this Supper Club. Six course prix fixe menu with generous wine pairing at a steal of $ 50 pp included dishes like oxtail ravioli, foie gras, salmon, lamb, etc. All were delicious and a refreshing change from the limited culinary scene of the area. I encourage Jose to continue to expand on his talents with regular specials because although I live a good 30 min drive away, I am willing to drive that distance to frequent this restaurant. Rumor has it that the next Supper Club is not until NYE so inquire and get your reservations booked. It is very well worth it.

Outstanding!!! No words to describe just how good the burgers are. They even have good draft beers on tap. I give them five stars.

Great food. Some nights the menu is limited, but you can always get a great burger! Margaritas are always good and the nachos are all fresh, even the chips. Look for the nightly specials on their Facebook page. Jose has won the taste of the town twice in Watertown!

The food is always done right at this local place! I have not been disappointed. I just wish they would serve more of their Mexican specialties, since the area lacks a good Mexican restaurant. They do an awesome salsa! Can’t wait for their Cinco De Mayo night on Saturday, May 4th.
