I would love to say that they are great at what they do, They use to be. They dont honor their claims. They palletize your cargo as fast and cheaply as possible and cause excessive damage to freight. If possible choose another facility CALCARGO is 10x better.

Price Transfer is an Amazing Company. As a CES they understand that nobody wants to be flagged for an Exam. They will handle your freight with care and their customer service is wonderful. They will work with the Customs officers to get you information in a timely manner. Their website is user friendly and you can track your containers and get«Real Time» status. Their rates that are approved by Customs are posted on their website so there isnt a shock when you recieve an invoice. Boooooooo! Everytime my freight invoice has the words«Price Transfer» it always brings a frown to my face. When you import goods from overseas and become the lucky recipient for a US Customs inspection, you would think its a simple matter of the customs agents opening your goods, look around, and tape it back up. What actually happens is that, a designated company(in this case Price Transfer) will be in charge of pulling your goods to their warehouse, get them ready for inspection, and after customs inspects it, everything gets taped back up and cargo brought back to a port. So what is the typical charge? To pull a truckload 3 miles up the freeway, open the truck, inspect a few boxes, close things up, pull it back three miles, you’re looking at $ 2−3k PER container! REALLY? For a few hours of work? I’m in the wrong business! Fortunately, according to US Customs, the percentage of cargo is fairly low especially if you are a trusted importer/non-violator. So, if you are good and follow the rules on importing, you will not get violated by Price Transfer ;).
