Decided to try after the good Unilocal ratings. Décor in the restaurant is very nice. At the recommendation of the reviews, made a reservation. it was a Thursday night and we were the only people in the restaurant. Food is OK. Menu has great pictures of the dishes, but unfortunately no description of the ingredients in the dish. I ordered Mongolian Beef, and it was not what I expected. Beef was tough. Moo Shoo pork came pre rolled. Felt sorry for the owners for working so hard and having so little business.

The place was clean and family oriented. We were hungry and ordered for more food. The Stewart said it would be heavy for two and we made confined order. The wor wonton soup was good and suit for all. The end of giving a complimentary fruit is impressive. Would go to this place once again.

We ate here because of the good reviews and didn’t disappoint. Their fried rice is the best! We also ordered chop suey, sweet and sour pork and chow mein. And the portions are really big! Iwanted to try the house special fried rice but it had shrimp, since I’m allergic to shrimp we opted to try the chicken fried rice. The place is small but surprisingly very clean. And the staff and owner were very nice. We’re definitely going back for more!

First time trying out this spot and we were not disappointed. Right away they offered us hot tea and brought out wonton crisps with sweet and sour sauce. We ordered the wor wonton soup, my husband and I really enjoyed it and we are very picky about wonton soup. For main dishes we got the house special chow mein, really good! Orange peel chicken was different than what we are normally used to but still delicious, it was more of a kung Pao chicken but orange chicken flavor. We also got sweet and sour chicken, this was our least favorite but overall it was a really great experience. It is family owned and the couple that was working were super nice and attentive. The place is clean, and the atmosphere was very nice, felt like we were in Chinatown. Once the check was brought out we were given a palate cleanser dessert. We will definitely be back! Ps. I am giving it four stars because of the sweet and sour chicken but for everything else this place is 5 stars.

Great service and food. I was skeptical given the distribution of reviews thus far(most either 5 stars or 1 star), and that we were the only customers at 6 pm on a Wednesday night. The service was excellent — the owner kindly explained the orange peel chicken I wanted to order would not be dredged in flour or fried — it was served like Kung Pao chicken but with orange peel and only a slight sweetness to it. It was delicious. We also ordered the hot and sour soup — the best we’ve ever had. The mu shu pork was also very good, and the mini steamed pork buns were ok. The owner also brought us mango pudding and almond jello with fruit for dessert. We have been searching the area for good Chinese and finally found our place — we will be back!

Finally yummy Chinese food. Unilocal did not disappoint. This place is great. Chinese food is totally legit. Had the cashew chicken Kung pow chicken and garlic shrimp all three items were excellent the fried rice is delicious all items were lunch specials and were only 8.50 each and came with soup and spring rolls which were also delicious. Wish we had something like this closer to home but totally worth the 5 ½ mile drive from San Pedro thank you for a wonderful meal look forward to returning truly delicious food wonderful service very warm and welcoming establishment

This is an excellent place to get some Chinese style food with a group of buddies or with the family. The service is pretty good and the decorations are quite pretty. The portions are plentiful and the food itself is delicious.

This was an excellent place It was unlike the greasy buffet fast foody chinese that you find at Panda Express and the like… The Kung pao chicken as well as the Orange peel chicken were light, authentic(well, surely many more times authentic that the previously mentioned other places) and run by sweet owners. Lunch also came with some egg drop soup and fried wontons. I left feeling real satisfied No MSG.

I ordered food for a small family dinner and wasn’t expecting too much. I don’t know if it’s because I didn’t have high expectations but I really liked the food! First, the older gentleman on the phone and who delivers the food was so polite. He made recommendations when I was debating over what to order as my chicken dish. In the end I ordered salt and pepper pork, kung pao chicken, veg fried rice, string beans with pork, garlic shrimp and Hunan beef. Everything was well seasoned, maybe a tad bit salty but no complaints from me. Portions are large too. Delivery was quick for it being the weekend and food was hot upon arrival! I liked this place so much I ordered again when I had a small get together 2 weeks later. I have to say my only complaint is they never seem to give enough forks and spoons or napkins. I would think they’d at least give you one for each order placed. Also, they don’t include hot sauce but I didn’t ask for it so my fault. Anyways, will order here again. Quantity, taste and service compared to cost is amazing.

I’ve been looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant for a while without having to drive out to Monrovia. I was surprised with this restaurant service is great, portions are large and food is delicious. Price is very reasonable plus a free mango pudding with the Unilocal check in. Definitely will be returning soon I have been craving there hot and sour soup probably the best dish I had out of all of the ones I was served. Plus service was very pleasant and no long wait. Decorations made it look more luxurious, seems like it doesn’t belong in that run down shopping center. Closed Monday’s.

The moment we walked in, they jumped up to show us to our table. We ordered five dishes and all of them were delicious. So much so we thought there had to have been a ton of MSG but there was a big No MSG sign on their door. Their service was amazing. They weren’t busy but still… they were so attentive. For example, my boyfriend took his jacket off while we were eating soup and all of a sudden we felt the air conditioner. First time here but we’ll definitely be back!

Came here recently for dinner. Large portions for a reasonable price. The food is pretty good. We got two dishes which was enough for three people. Both dishes were cooked and seasoned well. Service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and decorated beautifully. Online ordering available. Perfect location for dates! Located in a large shopping center with plenty of parking.

I had made up my mind about what I was having for dinner, Mexican. Driving down Main Street, I looked at the plaza to my left. I saw the parking lot filled with cars, then I saw a banner attached to an RV. «Lin’s Garden, Grand Opening». I had Chinese for dinner instead. The place was empty with no customer in site. Three rows of dining tables, set, ready to be occupied. I was greeted kindly by a woman and man. A young waiter, pulled my chair open. The menu offered the usual dishes found throughout all Chinese restaurants. There was chow mein, salt and pepper pork chops, fried calamari, etc. I ordered their shrimp fried rice and vegetable delight. It was made to order, steaming hot when it arrived on my table. The rice could have been left longer for my taste, but both dishes were delicious. I was enjoying my meal. I rarely have leftovers to take home, but in this instances, I had my lunch for the next day. My fried rice and vegetables tasted like they did the night before, yummy. The service was great. I was the only diner at the restaurant at the time, so I had all of the attention. My waiter was this young man. It felt like this severing job might have been his first. He was great, refilled my water when it needed to, asked me if I was okay. I did find myself being stared at while eating by this attentive young man. I do not like over bearing store owners/employees of any kind regardless of the business, however, this young man can be an exception. I felt that he wanted to do a great job. He might have been watching me to see if I needed anything else which is a great quality. I would just advise him to glance at his customers, not stare at them for a long period of time. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. Dinner can be pricy, so I will have to try this place at lunch!

Come hungry because the portions are pretty large. I’ve come to this restaurant many times, always leaving happy. One of the groups I came with ordered marinated beef with snow peas and some eggplant dish. For those of you who have gone to Panda Express and Hong Kong Express all of your lives, prepare to be traumatized. The food here is authentic Chinese food. It’s … real food, therefore far better and costing a little more. The owners are always welcoming and willing to serve alongside the waiters and waitresses. Although service may not be perfect, their attitude makes up for it. Walking through the entrance is like walking into Narnia. Turn your head in all 4 directions to find a bunch of nice decorations. Very Chinese. Look up and uhhh, it’s green. Prices are very low during their lunch special hours. Take advantage! 5⁄5 for authentic and delicious Chinese food made right.
