Our Vision

Is to be a source for basic necessities, long-lasting financial education, and community development

Our Mission

Is to serve the working underserved families/individuals regain financial stability by providing food, housing goods, clothing, personal care items and adult education on an on-going basis. This allows families/individuals to save money to pay off medical bills, make essential repairs and offset the consequences of the economic recession.

A Program of Accountability

ALL HPP Community Food Center families/individuals must state financial goals to work towards while participating in the program. This process ensures a program of accountability amongst participants. All are required to attend financial seminars that assist in learning how to manage their finances and control spending. HPP CFC provides a «Good $ense $eminar» for participants to participate in at NO Cost! This process ensures that our program is a program of accountability amongst participants

The Support

Food, Clothing, and Personal Care — Each year HPP CFC re-distributes over a million pounds of donated surplus and overstock food, clothing, personal care, and household goods.

Members shop weekly for $ 600+ of food per month.

So at first though you would say these families/individuals are just «Poor Money Managers» but then after working with the many families/individuals that were serviced by HPP CARES you begin to realize that, though these families/individuals are gainfully employed they are still one pay check away from poverty. Never getting a real «Edge Up» to becoming financially stable. Because
