Go Kart World is a motor-​themed amusement park. We have six different tracks and a 3,000 square foot arcade. Each of our tracks has a specific height requirement to ride. We can accomodate children as young as three years old all the way to adult. As of recently, we also have high-​speed adult race cars on our Super and Slick Tracks. These karts are for adults 18 years and older (photo ID is required). The adult cars can reach speeds of 40 mph! History

Established in 1993.

Go Kart World was built in 1993 with our famous «Slick Track» and an arcade. For the next eight years, all profits were reinvested and an additional track was added every couple of years. Now we have six different tracks accomodating all differerent ages and skill levels. We’ve also added double-​seater go karts to all of the adult tracks, allowing children who do not meet the height requirement to enjoy themselves on almost every track.

We recently added the «Pit Stop» which provides hot food and refreshments during your visit.

John Harris started Go Kart World in the summer of 1993 with only one track (the Slick Track) and an arcade.

Over the years, we’ve made many changes and additions to Go Kart World. We’veadded a track about every 16 months. The last expansion, where the Super Track and the banquet facilities were added, was by far the most challenging. Due to some unexpected challenges from the City of Carson, our expansion budget was far exceeded by the project and Mr. Harris was required to sell nearly everything he owned to finish. A local newspaper, called The Daily Breeze did a full page story on Mr. Harris and his family. Go Kart World is finally «finished» but we continue to update and make changes to address different concerns.

Many people are struggling in this economy and Go Kart World has lowered it’s pricing to help people who are having a hard time and yet still want to spend fun time with their family. Check our website for a variety of different coupons and discounts.

I like speed. I like carting. I like such long and open trucks. That is it. This was a very hot day. The logistics of this place is not the best one. In addition, cars were in a very bad shape, old and slow. The staff did not really explain where and when you should stop. Also, my husband broke his glasses. Honestly, the ad and their web site look much more attractive than what we saw. We did not even use all our rides. Children will have fun. Not sure about adults.

I mean I suppose you get what you pay for. If you don’t want to pay for K1 speed, this place might accommodate you.
I never been karting so my BF took me here & I literally thought it was a joke. I was so aggravated to see people act like ignorant jackASSES even in front children. They cut the lines, cussed, threw trash on the ground, and even raced like maniacs! I got yelled at for accidentally bumping the wall but everyone else can bump and hit you like nothing .The tracks and karts are so busted down that it made me not want to ride them. & lastly the workers. If you don’t like customer service or actually even working QUIT. *Don’t ruin the customers day just because you hate your job, makes people not want to go back! * Sucks that my first time was such a sucky one… People do like it, but me. Not impressed.

0 is what this place and its workers deserve. We were a group of 5, bought the 2h deal each $ 150 plus $ 45 for 1 ride on the «faster» cars.
In few words:
— service and logistics are poor and not organized.
— workers are unprofessional, unhappy and one of them was super rude, I won’t write his name. Erick.
— cars were in a very bad shape, old and slow.
Definitely not worth the money we spent and definitely not coming back.
And definitely don’t recommend this place to anyone.

This place rocks. Save a few bucks and get the armbands from groupon– totally worth it. Good family fun. There are a lot of tracks for different age groups. Get out of the house and have some go cart fun! Had to deduct one star for the rundown arcade area. Dirty, half of the games are not working and eeeeewww. Make sure to bring hand sanitizer.

We had so much fun today. The staff were so cool they rock. It’s been like 12 years I haven’t came here and I can say It changed for the better. Our favorite was super tack. I was afraid but hey I can do. As an adult I can honestly say I had fun, and I’ll be coming back. This kids don’t have nothing on me ;)

Definitely the best prices for go kart racing! Three of the best tracks for tween boys to race on. My nephew is 9 years old, and 57 inches tall and can drive independently on all but one track. To drive independently on all tracks he would need to be 60 inches tall or more. One hour unlimited pass was $ 30pp, and was well worth it! Two hours unlimited costs $ 40pp, and an all day pass is $ 50pp. Recommendation is to come on a Tuesday right after school at 2:30pm like we did. There’s no one here, and he just kept going on the «Super Track» over and over again without having any line to wait in. Since all tracks are outdoors, make sure you dress for the weather. Open until 10pm! Absolutely the best place for boys 6 – 66 years old!

I came here with my girlfriend. We both had never been Go Karting before so we thought we’d try it. We were debating on going here or K1, but K1 was more expensive and for an activity we never tried we thought we would try it out for as cheap as possible.
First Impression: Doesn’t look that big. Thought it was going to be indoor, but it was outdoor.
There was only like 4 tracks there. We bought 4 tickets so we could ride twice. We ended up only going on the same track twice cause the other ones were not impressive what so ever. There is an arcade there as well but not many good selections.
I would probably go to K1 next time so I can get a better comparison but overall it was decent.

Took my son & nephew to celebrate my sons 12th birthday. It was our first time here and They had an amazing time. We will definitely be back again…
On the downside I would suggest adding a smoking section away from kids (like my son that has asthma) and non smokers.
That would have gained the extra 2 stars.

The first time I came here and it will be the last. This worker was so rude to my group. My friend crashed into me and I ended up crashing into the wall and it was on accident. He went up to her and said she crashed into me on purpose and that she couldn’t drive anymore if she did it again, even though she had apologized and told him it was an accident.
We avoided the track until the last minute and I was decided to go on a two seater with my friend. He then came up to me and said that I couldn’t drive anymore because I crashed. And I told him he hadn’t, because he didn’t. Then he took a good ten seconds looking at me, unsure, before replying that he had told me that. Not only that, but his tone was completely rude.

Go Kart World in Carson is a good place to have a good time.
Apparently a ton of celebs go here to do so… when you go into buy your tickets and sign your waiver form check out all the pics on the wall.
I was a spectator this go around (8÷6÷15), but it was still entertaining I guess. We were there at around 11:00 a.m. The entire place was clean, free of debris and trash anyway. Easy to get around even with me pulling our daughters around in their wagon. Lot of shade. Picnic tables and other places to sit. Plenty of arcades and other games near the ticket office.
If you’re coming here to compete, just give up already. Youngins are mixed in with the adults. And bumping isn’t allowed. Why would you want to anyway especially if you’re a normal sized adult? The second my brothers and my husbands got into their karts I was laughing. They aren’t tall men by any means — all under 6′. They’re all skinny too, but they made their karts look kind of small. These karts are just for kicks. And sore bones and a few bruises afterwards.
The turbo track karts were too slow for them. The circle track near the kiddy area was the best since one of the other larger tracks was closed for a commercial shoot that day. I think it was the most fun since they could pass people without running them into the wall…
Unlike the nicer tracks that I’ve been to in Vegas, they don’t make you watch a video and put a helmet on. Just pay up and sign the waiver form. Cash or cards are accepted. No refunds.
What I didn’t really care for was signing a waiver form for our 1 & 2-​year-​olds who were just with me to watch.
There are some parking lot spots, but otherwise just park on the street. FREE parking!
The employees were mostly nice, but nonchalant & disconnected at times. Gas fumes will do that to you.

I have been coming here for many years almost fithteen year and I have seen it grow in size. The tracks are excellent they could improve the car thou I don’t think they have changed them since I first came here. The arcade has went down as well the game hardly work and they took out the fun game but it not why you come here. You come here to drive and they have car and tracks for all ages. The kiddy bike are so awesome but they need to lock the cover over the battery. That not safe and my son gave himself a nice shinner pulling on then. Always leave with a smile and a couple of ache from them small go kart or the bad driver!0!

Last night I decided to take my gf to race some karts and since I always pass by on the freeway I decided to take her there for her first time.
I understand on how some people might feel when it’s 30 min prior to closing and the whole «check out» mentality but business is business.
It’s been a very long time since I had gone to that establishment so I did not understand the whole process on what rides are the best, what tickets to purchase, ect.
My complaint about the experience I had in go kart world is basically the attitude of the ride staff. I don’t believe they know what the words customer service are. I felt like I was being rushed, I also felt like they were doing me a favor by providing a service. There was no greeting, and no type of customer service interaction that would make me feel like my business was appreciated.
Overall I wouldn’t change the rating that I have placed and I would not be conducting any more of my business in that establishment. I would not recommend the place and if someone were to ask for my opinion, I would not give a positive one. I don’t know how this affects the location or if anyone reads these but it’s nice to voice and opinion.

Go Kart World is FUN. with 4 – 6 tracks for kids and adults there is something for everyone with good variety of racing styles and speeds. The slick track go carts slide out on the short turns. The turbo seems really fast because it’s only two lanes wide. The long track is used for full speed adult racing. Birthday parties, video games etc.
It’s a little run down and dirty cars but the price is fair, reasonable and it’s hard not to smile wide often. There are longer lines on the weekend. They give adults a free 8 hour birthday pass, killer!

So here’s why I’m writing this review. It’s not because we didn’t have fun riding the go karts, because we did. The lady who sold the tickets to us was really helpful.
What changed the vibe of the entire experience was when we were playing those silly grab games and during the course of spending many bucks on it, don’t judge it’s what we’re there for right, on four separate occasions the magnetic hand that is supposed to go thru the keyhole took on a life of it’s own and released on it’s own. We didn’t take our hands off the MOVE button but that didn’t matter, the ‘hand’ moved for us.
When we went to the front desk to let them know, the REALLY nasty employee responded with, «SO WHAT, DO YOU WANT YOUR ENTIRE $ 20 REFUNDED?»
Whaaaaat? The tone she had was so ridiculous. It was startling, because we wanted to let them know. Then she questioned our honesty and rolled her eyes. Unfortunately I didn’t catch the person’s name. She is the tall employee, wearing her hair slicked down to her scalp and combed to the side on Sunday. Wow, the nastiness has really left a bad taste in our mouths because we would’ve been more than happy to return often.
Management probably won’t do anything about it, but yea, just had to share this less than awesome experience.

Dope spot! Was randomly driving down the 405 and decided we wanted to go go-​karting, then a few exits up we saw Go Kart World so we went!
Overall, this is a good place if you just want to get out and have some fun. If your an intense go kart driver and care about lap speeds and winning, don’t come here.
$ 30 for an hour of go karting, with a guarantee of 8 rides. If your adults– this is sufficient enough because theres not that many tracks, nor long of waits, and your adrenaline will get pumping with the need for speed!
Staff is friendly and funny. We were going around the track and our car died– but they let us ride again without marking it down on our wristband… yay for a ‘free’ ride.
Ehh, i felt like I breathed in way too many toxic fumes from the old little put put cars they have.
FYI– if your getting the groupon– make sure you really follow the 3 hour rule. We bought the groupon and went 30 minutes later and they wouldn’t allow us to use it so we got stuck buying wristbands at the door– luckily Groupon refunded our money!

This place would be fun if the karts wouldn’t shut down constantly. I mean like seriously the races are timed and we had to slow down every lap because the karts are always shutting down!
The staff is okay at best! They should probably loose the attitude when speaking to a customer! Like come on dude i paid to race on some OUT DATED go-​karts! So lets do the math i paid $ 62 for 9 races I’m guessing you guys get paid minimum wage. So if it wasn’t for people like me that actually go there i think its safe to say you WOULDN’T HAVE A JOB! And yeah i can actually hear you guys talking crap about my friends and i! THE CUSTOMERS in case you forgot!
So for the price i guess this is the place to go if you want to be treated like crap by some high school kids. But for me 2 tries was my limit. And I’m now going to put up the white flag and stick to my favorite place which is k1 speed. Even though its more expensive they at least have good customer service and the karts actually WORK!!!
I really wished this place so would have been a great experience for me but unfortunately it wasn’t and its all do to the fact that the employee lack customer service and the go karts don’t work properly which ruins the experience.
Oh and i forgot to mention that some karts are faster than others so if you win it really isn’t because of your «skill» its because you got a faster kart.
