The CSUDH Infant-​Toddler Development Center is a full-​time center-​based inclusion program serving toddlers from 18 – 30 months old and toddlers with special needs from 18 – 36 months old.

History

Established in 1985.

Doris Okata founded the university’s Infant Toddler Development Center (ITDC) for children with special needs, where she was serving as director until 2011.

Meet the Manager

Beverly C.

Manager

The director of the Infant Toddler Center has a Master’s Degree in Human Development specializing in Child Development and a Program Director’s Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

All of our teachers have Bachelor’s degrees in Child Development and either Teacher Permits, Master Teacher Permits or Teaching Credentials from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

All of our staff have Child Development units, CPR/​First Aid training and participate in ongoing professional trainings.
