Established in 2001.

Started in a tiny apartment in the vicinity of Long Beach, Bahay Kainan grew to become a well known catering business in the heart of Carson California. Focused on the authenticity of Filipino Cuisine, Elizabeth and Guillermo Ferido created a place where the recipes of the Philippine Islands can be enjoyed here in Southern California.

Store owner was dishonest with their business practices, food party packages, and delivery services. Watch out when you asked for their prices, they will ask you how big is your party and would suggest food party packages and charge you an amount twice than just ordering (ala carte) large or medium trays, especially if you don’t know how to budget. They will get away with it. Their delivery service is a big joke! One day their minimum delivery is this much, and then on another day it’s higher. Get it together. I know this is a Filipino establishment, but you’re in United States already. Be as professional as you can.
Food is good and price is ok. But the taste and quality of the food still doesn’t compare to Arko Glendale and American Ranch Cerritos. Plain fact.

Most Manny Pacquiao Mega Fans only see one option on fight night: dropping a few Gs on a trip to Vegas with tickets to the fight. A cheaper option would be going to Vegas and watching it on CCTV at a hotel on the strip. But an even more practical option is throwing a MP Fight Party for all your friends.
So I elected to spend a few hundred dollars on an absolutely fabulous night with almost everyone I know.
I ordered THE WHOLE LECHON, as in the entire pig. It was seasoned so well and fed about 50 people with plenty left over. I let people take some home and I still think I will be eating well for the next two weeks. $ 200 well spent.
I also ordered 2 chicken rellenos, 100 lumpia shanghai, and a large party tray of pancit sotanghon. While these dishes were very much up to what I like to think are my discerning tastes when it comes to Filipino food, the LECHON WAS EPIC. Absolutely delicious and they provide the Mang Tomas «All Purpose» sauce that goes perfectly.
By 8:30pm at my party everything was set in place. 50 people in my house fixated on the TV, well fed and ready. I felt like my party was 50% on its way to being a huge success. The other 50% came from Manny Pacquiao’s brilliant performance. Great fight, great food, and just a huge successful night.
