Tires Plus Total Car Care

I am always so happy with the service at tires plus! They have a friendly helpful staff that is informative and honest. I just got my breaks fixed there and they charged me 300 $ less than leshwab quoted me. I will always take my cars to tired plus.

I never write reviews but the experience I had yesterday has really pushed me to share what I encountered. Being a female, I’m usually guarded going into places like that… too many times I find them trying to sell me services that aren’t required. Even though I paid for them to do the full inspection on my vehicle and expecting them to tell me that I needed new filters, brakes or any other wide range of services, they came back and told me everything was in good shape. The only additional service I paid for was an alignment, but I had already half expected to do that anyway.
Aside from that, the customer service that I witnessed for other customers was remarkable. One example that stands out is an elderly gentleman that came in for service. Turns out that his repair was under warranty but it was going to take a great portion of the day to complete. Instead of expecting him to wait all afternoon in the lobby, Clint offered to take him home and was very patient and the gentleman made his way to the door. Sadly you just don’t see customer service like that anymore very often so it really stands out. There were other examples that I witnessed too that would definitely make me feel good about recommending Tires Plus in Carson City to anyone in need of services that they provide.

The level of service I received at tires plus in Carson City exceeded my expectations, the service writers were professional and knowledgeable in products and services. Since I didn’t have an appointment. I was told the car would have to be left approximately 4 hours, but the guys got me out in about two. This was my first visit to a tires plus store and my expectations were met and exceeded. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

I bought 60,000 mile tires for my vehicle and they went bad after 25,000 miles. They didnt even honor their warranty. Said I should of got the other warranty. Went to Les Schwab and got great tires that have not shown much wear on them yet. The staff was awesome and tried to do everything to earn my business. Tires Plus could learn alot from them. I am not the only one that this has happen to.

40 minute wait… no problem. Checking on the car after 1 hour, only to find they hadn’t even started on it… problem! Suggestion for management: if you’re going to make time commitments, and your not going to keep them, you shouldn’t have your staff just standing around! It makes you look VERY incompetent!

Not worth the hassle, they totally try to upsell needless expensive items and by the way they will help themselves to anything not attached to the vehicle. Yes they stole from my car after spending $ 1300? What kind of manager allows this? I’ll tell you Mark. They seem nice but are trying to steal every penny you have along with anything else you leave in your vehicle, warning clean everything out of your car before going.
Mark tried to tell me I needed a new battery, a whole new suspension for a 3 year old h3. Dealer said put battery on charger for 2hrs and there was nothing wrong with the suspension. Mark gave me an estimate for these needless repairs totaling another $ 1200 and his price was good for 1 week, what a crook.
Be fair to people, save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

Scheduled an appointment for 2 new tires, oil change, alignment and free brake check. Got there early and they took me early despite being busy. Went over price quote again and they even took an expired coupon for me. Took 2 hours but that was fine, I brought a book and personally I would rather they didn’t «rush» my car servicing! They told me my brakes were absolutely fine. Didn’t try to upsell AT ALL! On a side note, because they drive it after the alignment I let them know my right tail light was out. Guess what? It was working when I got back in my car. I priced tires, oil change and alignments in every grouping possible including going to different places and they did it the cheapest by about $ 40. I will be back.

I get my oil changed here all the time, and the staff is wonderful. They are quick, and painless, and take care of my car so I have nothing to worry about when I leave. Good thing too because I drive the crap out of my baby.
