Pyramid Net

Well I’ve been with this company since September 2015. I hadn’t had internet service for a few years so it was nice to have it and deal with a local company. It was 99.00 to set up then i want expecting a bill until November but then at the end of September i got a bill got 98.00. I contacted Tiffany and her explanation was i was prorated September and being charged four November but even with that it shouldn’t have come to 98.00. My monthly is 35 so even portrayed it should have never come to 98. So i get last that bump. But then Christmas is coming around so i look into up grading my service so i call and ask if i decided to up grade how long would it take. So i can pre plan. Todd, the tech guy, says «oh a couple of days» awesome, right? So i call a week before Christmas and talk to Todd and he says yeah a couple of days. So i figure awesome plenty of time for Christmas. He says it should be no later than Monday of next week, ok awesome. Monday comes i don’t here from him until i call Wednesday and that’s when he says a couple of days… again. Christmas! Christmas comes and goes i give him a call and he says the 4 TN of January! Are you kidding me! I get my kids PS4 and its a horrible experience because the internet sucks ass! I’ll give him until the 4^th if its not right by then I’m canceling. Up date to fallow…

Well, time to update this puppy.
Fast forward from «austere mode» to «I need speed» mode. I was with Charter Cable for internet for years. Started off at $ 39.95 with a two year commitment. When it ran out they bumped up the price. I say, «Hey!» «they said, «Oh, just renew and we’ll get you that low price again!» So I did. Two years pass and the same thing happens. I say, «Hey!» They say, «What?» I say, «how about the wink wink nudge nudge two year $ 39.95 thing again?» They say, «Nope. You’re at well over $ 50 a month now and we kinda like it. If you want the special price you’ll have to cancel for three months and THEN you can sign up again.»
I’m like, «Really?» Well, I’m screwed because who else has cable internet?
Well, it turns out Pyramid has cable internet. They came and installed it this morning, right when they said they would. Install went smooth and fast. Same price, basically, as Charter but the money is going to local guys instead of keeping the lights on at Charter Tower, wherever the hell that is. Plus it’s a commercial connection instead of «civilian,» as they say. Very fast.
Glad I’m back.
