Carson Service Center

I am so happy and feel very lucky to have stumbled across this place. I was in a bad situation and needed a car, and the owner had me in a great vehicle and worked hard to get me financed at a good price. Had no problem fixing the minor issues on the car, even after he dropped the price below kbb fair market value. I was expecting a «sold as is» like I would have gotten from any other dealer on a vehicle this old.
The owner is friendly and honest, which are both hard to come by these days, sadly enough. When we were shopping around for a vehicle for my boyfriend last year, I wish we had found Carson Service center. Instead we were at bigger dealerships who left us waiting for hours while they «checked with the manager» and «worked on the financing,» which is a common ploy to make you so ready to just get out of there that you don’t bother haggling. Also, once we were off the lot and had a problem, they could have cared less.
Should I have any future mechanical issues (which I don’t forsee because despite this car’s age it’s s still incredibly reliable, boy I love my Subarus), I will only ever take my car here from now on. I’ll also be recommending them to everybody for repairs and new purchases.
I really can’t speak highly enough of them, and wish I could go higher than 5 stars.

Full brakes for Toyota Tundra. Excellent service, completed in a timely manner and fair price. Was OK using my parts which was important to me. I used to work on my vehicles until an injury. Will return if other work is needed. Thanks!

I really love this place. My boyfriend is out of town for weeks and even sometimes months at a time and my car knowledge is limited, so I am so grateful to have a place I can trust. They are always super accommodating and genuinely friendly and easy to communicate with. I had my clutch fixed last month and an oil change this month and they always do a superb job. I always leave with a smile on my face. I won’t be going anywhere else to get my car fixed!

The best place to go in Carson City. Recently had a problem with an ignition and found out my toddler had jammed something in the keyhole. Extremely relieved to find out there was no damage. Thanks guys!

I’ve been taking my cars to these guys for years and they are nothing short of outstanding. My kid’s 2005 Nissan Xterra had a destroyed transmission and they were able to get him going the next day. My 1998 Sienna minivan runs perfectly thanks to them. Great to find an honest garage in this day and age, THANK YOU!!!

I have been taking my car here for 12 years. THE best service around Carson, Reno, Tahoe, Gardnerville, Dayton. These guys don’t try to upsale work or parts. When I take my car in, even though it is still under dealership warranty, they explain the problem to me and how it would work normally. Detailed information is key, along with not hitting my pocketbook. I recommend this auto shop. Drew is the most honest mechanic I have yet to encounter! Thanks guys!

Excellent and honest customer service. I just moved to Carson City and I feared that my power steering pump was on its way out. Drew was able to fix my issue without replacing the pump and costing me hundreds. I defiantly recommend Carson Service center for good honest work! :)
