Waves & Ripples

I went in for my first appointment today and I am extremely happy with my cut, highlights, treatment and style. Chanel was my stylist and she was very personable and recommended styles most flattering for me. I was very relaxed and comfortable. I highly recommend this salon and Chanel.

I had my first visit to Waves and Ripples today, and couldn’t be happier! I would highly recommend Michael, who cut my hair, to everyone!
The salon is awesome and everyone that works there is so friendly. I had gone to the same stylist for 30 years, but made the leap to go some where new, I’m so glad I did. I will be back again and again and recommend to everyone!!!

I walked in with a bit of fear. All I said was, «haircut, shoulder length». I was so happy with Chanel! She gave me a great cut, then she styled it. She taught me how to style it too! That’s a first! Chanel is great!

I am always nervous going to a new salon/​stylist … But, NO worries here! Jerry was so proficient he made the job look easy — I KNOW from (many disappointing) experiences that my long, thick hair intimidates MOST stylists.
Salon is large, clean and the staff is very friendly.
So impressed, I scheduled regular appointments out until the end of the year to keep my locks looking great … A first for me!

Just got my hair cut and styled here by Chanel, and I’m beyond happy with how my hair looks. I literally made a Unilocal account after years of utilizing the website and app JUST so I can post this review, I’m that freaking happy with it.
The salon has very welcoming, laid back atmosphere and the people working here seem to really enjoy what they do. Chanel also gave me honest advice about products (instead of just trying to sell me stuff, because who enjoys getting a sales pitch whilst getting their hair done? Not me.) and gave me a couple of styling options that I can handle (I’m really low maintenance and generally suck at hair stuff). She also kept conversation going very naturally and seemed genuinely interested in talking with me, which I appreciated. All in all a great experience, and I HIGHLY recommend this salon and Chanel!

Had a gel manicure done there. Looks awesome only down fall is I did not get the true manicure ‘cuticle clean,’ she only put on the gel nails. I just wish I had known I was not getting a full manicure.

Amazing! NEW High end salon with passionate and well educated stylist that will make you feel awesome. They offer your basic cut, fantastic coloring and color corrections (even speedy root touch ups!) and styles as well as Brazilian blowouts (this freaking crazy nice treatment that defrizzes and smooths and straightens your hair for up to three months! PERFECT now that it’s getting warmer!!) gel-​nails, wigs, makeup, EVERYTHING.
Fantastic about getting you in same day or the next. They have a retail selection as well ranging from purses and bags to trendy jewelry and then of course hair styling products of the best quality.
This is definitely one to check out. Right off of G. Bush in a beautiful Carrollton neighborhood.
