Walmart Supercenter

The store is clean and things are organized BUT the workers there are horrible. I’ve been here to pick up items before and both times I came the workers were very slow and the manager there isn’t any better. She made me wait about 20 minutes while they tried to investigate who picked up a package by mistake while other cashiers that could of helped me stood around and just waited. She told me I had to wait my turn. there should always be 2 registers open for this exact reason. Thank god another cashier saw and offered to help me. the Manger should have done this. I went again yesterday for pick up and this time the cashier told 2 customers to wait so she could clean up her area and that was about a 10 – 15 minute wait. Not to mention they move like snails. But I tell myself this is what service you get when you want a deal.

I too ask myself why I return to this store. Never enough cashiers when lines are long, while managers stand near by chatting it up with other employees. Less then stellar cleanliness, out of stock is routine on items I buy on a regular basis. Staff is never friendly or helpful, and act as if they are doing you a favor if asked for help. I know this store will not shutter their doors if I stop shopping there, but I don’t need the frustration anymore. I’m done with this Walmart.

I always ask myself why I even bother every time I shop this store. Tonight was another classic example. First a box of hangers fall off a shelf and we start cleaning it up as an employee watches — never offering to help. Then at 10:01 we try to leave as a guy was on his way closing the entrance we were leaving from — it was not locked yet — and he stopped and made us and the people behind us all walk back to the other side of the store to use that exit. Needless to say we were all extremely frustrated.

This one is huge as compared to the one I’m used to in the North Irving.
Being a super Walmart, it has all the conveniences under one roof and also a nice, clean Burger King.
It is conveniently located off PGBT & Old Denton Rd and surprisingly it wasn’t too crowded when I went there.
It is Walmart, so not much is expected here; you go here as needed.
