Waggoner Carpet

Wow, do we wish we could recommend them, but can’t, and have steered at least one friend to someone else. They really helped us pick the right carpet and vinyl flooring, and we are grateful for that. But the installation and follow-​up was very disappointing. First, they miscalculated and didn’t bring nearly enough carpet, complicating the installation. The install crew for the carpet left large edges of carpets untacked, and once tried to put down faulty carpet pads (the waterproof seal was torn off quite a few square feet, and they had to have seen it; fortunately we did before they covered it up). The carpet is nice, but the seams really show. In addition, the sales manager promised to give us instructions for carpet care – essential to avoid the manufacturer voiding your warranty – but never did; we’ve asked three times and they said they would send someone with that information as well as to look at the seams, but then absolutely nothing happens. After several months we’re still waiting. That seems to be a pattern; not returning calls or following up. Maybe they deal in high volume so a single residential job is not a priority. But we’ve heard of other family-​owned floorers who did seem to care more about single-​residence customers in a way Waggoners has not. As I said, we’ve steered at least one friend in another direction.

I’ve used Waggoner Carpets at two different houses on five different projects and they’ve been fantastic every time! On top of that I’ve referred multiple friends and family to them and they’ve all had great experiences, too. Ray and his crew are some of the best guys around.

Recently our A/​C flooding our hallway and ruined our Laminate flooring that we had previously gotten from Waggoner’s we called and they were able to order us replacement flooring within hours for us to pick up! We are so happy to be able to buy local and from a company that has the best customer service! We have used Waggoner’s for many projects over the years and will continue to use them for all our flooring and tiling needs in the future.

I highly recommend Waggoner’s. They were easy to work with and very professional. And the work is excellent. To top it off, the price was very reasonable. I’ve worked with several tile companies and these guys are by far the best I’ve worked with.

I called Waggoner about a year ago to install carpet into a new retail location I was opening. Don spent a good deal of time talking with me and determining what I needed. They had the same products the big box stores had, but actually were a bit cheaper and could install it much faster. Their follow-​up was pretty solid as I had a few «runners» that needed to be fixed. I will be opening more stores in the future and they will be my first call for flooring.

They are excellent! We had a flood the first day we moved into our new house. We had to get the carpet re-​installed in a bedroom after the moisture was removed. Every interaction I had with Waggoner Carpets was a good one. They were professional and friendly every step of the way. They were able to schedule the work the same week and actually called the next day to say they could get in earlier than expected. The installation went great and took under an hour to replace the pad and the carpet. The prices are also very reasonable. I will have no hesitations using them the next time we need flooring work!

I want to recognize Waggoner Carpets for amazing customer service. I purchased carpet from them three years ago. They did an amazing job installing the carpet. However, recently, a few wrinkles had developed in the carpet.
I contact Don, at Waggoner Carpets and described the problem. He asked when I would be available, and I told him. He had a crew at my home in less than 3 hours! Angel and his team were courteous, professional and once again did an amazing job!
Try getting those big carpet guys to do something like this. You will be waiting for weeks for anyone to show up. Waggoner Carpets is a great, local business that takes customer service to a whole new level. You may find cheaper prices, but you won’t find better people to do business with.

If you need flooring of any kind, counter tops or your kitchen or bathroom remodeled Don and his son Ray at Waggoner will take very good care of you! They seem very old fashioned in their pricing and workmanship but very modern when it comes to the latest choices. They brought the best quality carpet to put in my home office and his crew moved about my house like they were in a china shop, very carefully! Was awesome to watch! Now I also have a new granite counter top in my guest bath, couldn’t be happier! Thank you to Don and his crew, I couldn’t appreciate them more!
