The Law Office of Vern D. Richards

Attorney Vern Richards was hired to handle my divorce. He missed SEVERAL crucial deadlines, which ultimately resulted in a non contested divorce into a contested divorce, then an out of state judge ruled my divorce would have jurisdiction in another state. If he would have filed all the proper motions in a timely manner, this would have been avoided. My entire marriage was in Collin County, my husband left and went to another state, filed for divorce and Mr. Vern Richards kept missing deadlines. Now, I have to hire another attorney, out of state, to have competent legal counsel in the up coming Final Hearing. Mr. Richards did not return my calls, emails, or text messages in a timely manner. I have all of the correspondence between the two of us. Divorce does not appear to be his forte.
