RL Turner High School

The teachers are out right rude to the students. They bully the kids often threatening their grades. The teachers often violate district rules and consider themselves untouchable. The girls have to announce their menstrual cycle in order to get a rest room break and often the teachers still refuse. One teacher said it was funny to see the teenaged girls humiliated. The school is large and the passing time is 3 minutes. Often kids have to run from 1 end of the school to the other. This leaves no time for restroom breaks between classes. The graduation rate is 75%. That means 25% of the students drop out. The reason for this is the teachers. All of the pregnant girls from the other area high schools are also transferred to Turner. Don’t send your kids here.

The Gym is a great venue for Dance Competitions, and the Classrooms are very accommodating to the dance teams. Of all the places my daughter has competed at, RL Turner is the one I prefer.
